always fresh and good...wish picante sauce had a tad more kick...better than la Fiesta and all those..
First visit, and with a long time friend who's a regular customer. Simply had chicken fajita taco salad; the salad was ordinary but the chicken was grilled and moist. The dressing delish.The house frozen margarita was XLNT. Both of them: ) Service very good too. Nice Houston institution that flies under the radar.

Been around with same owners since the mid 1970's. Good basic Mexican food and friendly staff.
Tried this place out by chance one time. Now it's my favorite Texmex restaurant. It's nice on the inside compared to the outside. Food was top quality.
Manager is super nice and always tries to seat us in our normal spot. Food so far has been great!
Ordered the enchiladas and they were amazing. Very nice staff and even quite place to eat relax and talk. I'd recommend to anyone who likes some good Mexican food!
Been years since I had been here.I ordered The Pronto plate. The cheese puff, guacamole and chicken fluata was good. The beef taco was just ok. Needed some seasoning.I didn't care for the salsa much. It's very runny. Good chips though.
