Not sure I’m exactly an affiocando of Greek food but I grew up with a Greek family and my last name is Greek so definitely consider it a part of my heritage. I have been now to a few Greek places in Houston and while I’ve found some good places Ekko’s is my favorite. I always get the gyros plate and the meat has great seasoning and I really like their tzatziki recipe. It’s also quite thick. They also give you a ton of meat with the gyros plate - probably enough for two meals - and the fries are awesome. They’re seasoned really well and when you get them hot out of the fryer they’re SO good. I’d kind of like more pita but who knows maybe they’d give you more if you asked. The pita also seems quite fresh and like they actually make it themselves (a lot of Greek places don’t).Yes Ekko’s is in a gas station but in Texas that’s a feature not a bug. I don’t think I’ve lived somewhere that has more colocated food places with gas stations than Texas. Hey at least it’s not yet another taqueria. There’s a lot of room to eat indoors or outside.

The best chicken soup I've had!Their chicken soup is $5.95.Does not lack flavor, with plenty of chicken, carrots, celery, & a little rice, (served with pita bread). What makes their soup exceptional are the seasoning, & side note of lemon, It's not over powering, nor are any spices they may add, just enough to make it a great summertime soup. I enjoyed it so much I couldn't drop my spoon to take a pic of my soup until it was gone. So there's a pic of empty container that once contained a chicken soup that was delish.#staysafeyall#godblesstexas#lowerfuelprices

It's a good place to eat, the gyros are delicious and the fries are very good. The only bad thing is the construction that is going on, the gasoline smell is very strong and not much parking space, that's why we got our food to go, we normally eat there,so our food is fresh.

Exceptional service and loved the prices. Greek potatoes and Turkey Sandwich ?

The food is great Low prices, big portions. We accidentally discovered this place on YouTube. The service is just as great as the food and pricing. I wish they would open a food truck in the mid town area because it’s very difficult to drive there with all the construction. With their pricing and the quality of food they would certainly make a success and run the overpriced Niko Nikos out of town

Definitely the best gyro in Houston just like others have said. All the vegetables behind the counter look and taste so fresh. Next time I’m getting a salad. Other items on the menu look great. The tzatziki is authentic and delicious. Their love of food shows.

Inside a gas station? Yes. Delicious Food? Yes. Very reasonable? Yes. I had looked up some cheap eats in Houston, expecting a no frills experience and this gave exactly that. You get a lot of food for a cheap price. Chicken skewers, grape leaves, pita, salad was all amazing. I will definitely be back, I love this gas station eatery. Don't judge it from the outside until you try it!

Stopped for a quick lunch. It was extremely good. Place is not too busy and prices are fair

Could be the best gyro sandwich in Houston....also the chicken and rice soup is fantastic.
