The egg custard tarts were amazing. The mango mochi was unlike any mochi I've ever had before. We even had a great conversation with some nice people. Overall, a wonderful experience!
This place is an treasure hidden!!! Egg custard and BBQ pork is the best best in Houston!!! Price is very affordable. Fresh everyday, someday I come but they sold out. The cheese cake also is the best ?!!!highly recommend for everyone

If there's one bakery you need to visit in Houston, this is the one.A local favorite, their egg custard tarts are phenomenal - light, airy, flaky on the outside and soft, creamy, and sweet but not too sweet on the inside.Honestly, everything they make is delicious such as their pineapple bread, curry puffs, etc.You don't come here for the ambiance, but for the amazing food. OMG! Their egg custard tart is the BOMB? The crust is flaky and so crunchy! The custard is just perfect with right amount of sweetness and creaminess!!! YUM YUM
Everyone knows this is the best place in Houston to get the egg tarts. This was my second time being then and it was absolutely prefect, so flaky, not dry, and the custard is so rich and creamy... I love the shine it has on top too. So delicious. I also tried their sesame ball and Pineapple bun... both amazing.
I'm rating this place for making the best crispy, flaky egg tart that's lightly sweetened. They only take CASH!!! Remember that. The service is ok but it's quick in & out. The coconut tart is sweeter in comparison to the egg tart with a different texture crust. Other items are good too but egg tart is a must buy!!!
I'm sure it's my fault for going so late, but the food definitely tasted as though it was not fresh. The flavor was OK, the custard tart was very good. The service was excellent though, one of the people took the time to fully explain how to reheat the items and I really appreciated that.

The shell have many flaky layers of tasty crust. The fillings are light and flavorful.My minor issue is the crust is a bit toooo thick and the fillings are toooo little, if you compared to the best tarts in San Francisco or Hong Kong ??.
Best custard little pies in all of Houston. 1 bad thing they close by 4pm. Every thing they make here is fantastic and have even visited China so there's more expensive & places opened later hours but don't meet the good- ness even half way.
