I really love this place and their products and the nice people that own the place, but today I was disappointed. I had someone pick up some food for me, specifically a plate of falafel with complaints of the not very courteous or friendly service this time. I was a chef for a few years , I know what good food tastes like. Today , this was not good food. The falafel was burnt and grey and rubbery inside from being over cooked. I do hope the mix was made today and not more than two days ago and I do hope that they changed their frying oil because I could literally smell and taste the gristle on these falafel. Very disappointed, this is the first time this ever happens too ! I am going to attribute it to a long day but I will be hesitant to order food again.
I've been coming here for 40 years. The first time was with my Grandfather who wanted a taste of home. (Get the Shwarma!) The owner is warm, friendly, and will never point you in the wrong direction. Even though I don't live anywhere near Droubis anymore, anytime I'm in town I always stop. Their freshly baked pita is perfection and although I've tried, I just can't duplicate the za'atar bread, cheese bread, or the spinach pies. Thier ma'amoul and pistachio baklava are must haves as well. Also, don't forget to pick up some of thier house made tahini.
Great family store and restaurant! The falafel sandwich is yummy and priced well. I leave every time with fresh breads, olives, dolmas and Greek cookies. The store also offers imports, herbs and spices. My favorite is the pomegranate Turkish Delights!!!
My wife and son and I paid our "first" visit to Droubi's last remaining location. The people we met were super helpful and friendly. This place has been in business for over 40 years and after tasting the best spicy chicken shwarma wrap i've ever had, and some amazing baked goods...I can see why they've been around so long. My wife got the meatball plate with 2 sides, we all tried them...really tasty and tender. The only thing we tried that wasn't quite 5 stars was the tabouleh. Definitely get the coconut cookies and the cookie with dates in the middle...you'll thank me later. Now I need to go back and try everything else. This is a bakery, deli and grocery store. They're in the process of enlarging the space allocated for the deli. The lady working at the bakery counter said they used to have 4 locations. We will be back for more goodies.
My family has been coming to their store and restaurant since 1982. The food and owners hold a very special place in our hearts. The food is always fresh and tasty. Many of the products sold are made in-house like their tahini, which is amazing. Definitely give them a try!
Owner is amazing - they have everything I love this place. The owner used to be a physician and he is so intelligent and seriously knows how to cook. I will definitely come back here. Also great prices
Been coming to this place since I was 5 years old when the location was in Sugar Land. This place is absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend the pita bread and chicken shawarma (also spicy)! If you haven’t eaten here, you are seriously missing out!

One of ys dined in the other did not. The shawarma meat on the hot post was dry and shawarma sandwich was not edible, but ate it because it was paid for. All the food on the steam table was dry and unedible
My family has been going here for decades and look forward to visiting Droubis every time we are back in town. The shawarmas are still extraordinarily delicious and great value while staff is very friendly!
