Clean and bright environment, and new management is decent and caring about customer satisfaction. Halwa poori is delicious. Jalebi very crispy and fresh kachori too! Kadak chai is refreshing
A must-have after ownership change. The Best Halwa Puri and Desi Breakfast in Town!Took family and relatives from California to Dilpasand for brunch. I had not been here in some time, but decided to try it out again as I've heard great things since the recent ownership change. I must say.... it did not disappoint!The Halwa Puri is the best in town, IMO. They make fresh, REAL puris. The cholay are the best I've had in Houston in 15 years. The halwa is just right and the aaloo are tasty. We also tried the paratha-keema combo and the desi omelette. What really set it all apart is the homemade style and flavor! We traveled 30 minutes for Dilpasand, and it was well worth the trip.
Was super hungry after a busy day and wanted fulfilling snacks when we found this place with fresh menu and people.. My ears were thanking me when i was listening to the hustle bustle in Punjabi to make restaurant arrangements better as it’s just initial weeks supposedly and when the fresh hot food arrived - it made my rest of the day !!Bought jalebi & big round sweet home as well which turned out to be amazing ..
Amazing punjabi palao! Perfectly cooked rice. Good flavor. Heart warming customer service.Had a delicious refreshing Orange juice freshly squeezed.Jalebi was so crispy and gushing with flavor.Cant wait to go back and try the rat of the menu.
Under new management.We went there today with a family friend.We tried their chai plus Jalebi and namak paray. Both Jalebi and namak paray were made fresh today.Jalebi was really good.Also had orange juice, which was made fresh to order.Also tried both plain Lassi and Mango Lassi.Mango Lassi is a must if you are a fan of Lassi.New owners are very friendly and they have made some really nice changes to the decor inside and made it more welcoming.If you are in the area, it's right next to world food, very easy to get to. Give it a try!I went back on the weekend to try their Halwa puri Nashta. Really enjoyed it. Also tried some of their Mithai as well.
Amazing halwa puri and dil pasand which is under new management now. Excellent fresh hand made puris, yummy halwa chanay and aloo bhaji.They have over hauled the place and is now super clean and top notch customer service!
They barely have any choicesOnly 4-5 mithai disappointed. Ya all should visit karachi dil pasand and learn from them..

The Quality Of The Food Has Significantly Dropped Over The Years. Back In The Day When Imran Lal Puri Worked their, They Used To Have The Best Halwa Puri In Town. Now I'ts Just A Joke. The Food Is Not Fresh. Customer Service is Horrible, They have no Knowledge on How to Talk To Customers. Very Sad and Disappointing.
I got halwa puri today and it tastes amazing. Will try again!!
