Seriously! What a gem! Clean business. Got the strawberry macaron, durian and pandan choux. Let me tell you, it was delicious! Nice and light and not overly sweet! This place got Vietnamese palate on point. But most importantly, I ordered a coffee cake for my wife's birthday. She's usually really strict on her coffee cake. I've gotten cake as far as in Katy and the Houston area, but fail to make her satisfied. Until now! Like seriously if my wife goes back for seconds, you know it's good. The cake was a perfect balance of coffee and chocolate. Like how in the hell?? The coffee mousse was light and aromatic. My new dessert/cake spot! The owner Julie is sweet. I felt like my coffee cake order was not her usual but man she deliver it perfectly!
Stopped by here to pick up some goodies. What they offer is French-style pastries but with an East Asian influence in some of the flavors, I think. They had mostly cream puffs and cupcakes and a few other items. Got an Ube Cupcake and a Coffee cream puff and a Strawberry Guava cream puff; all were yummy. Was a little surprised the selection was not quite like other French bakeries that we've been to, without some offerings we've seen at other places. Overall glad to have come here.
When you enter into Desseire, you feel relaxed, it's clean and clear, certainly on the decoration side they did a nice job?? !!!The owner is welcoming and very friendly. On the packaging side nothing to say, it's perfect!Their cupcakes are sweet and their choux extra delicious.
My son eat here with friends ans claimed it was the best croissant he has ever had. I was nearby so I stopped. The chocolate almond is indeed rather tasty. Yep he coffee good too. It's a walk up ans order place and the selection when I went was limited and the prices a bit hi ($400 for a croissant). But good enough I would stop again. They do have outside tables but your basically sitting in the parking lot. Ok for the area but nothing special
Very cute and authenic shop! Owner is super sweet and personable ! Caught her just coming back from her trip ! Must try: Pandan, coffee, mango passion and Sesame! Will be back to try more ! Nice low key shop, supporting local ! I expect her business will continue to grow lots! Come and try all ! Haven't tried her cakes but the will be next on the list when I'm in town !
Everything that we've tried here has been fantastic! This is our go-to place for birthday cakes. They're not too sweet, so it's perfect for an Asian palate. The owner, Julie, is very sweet, responsive, and accommodating. It makes ordering and pick up a breeze.
Wonderful place. Great food and coffee. Sat on front patio. Cappuccino served in a glass cup! Pastures and a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs. Highly recommend
Some of the BEST desserts ever!!!Lightly sweet, super creamy choux, loved the black sesame flavor the most. The pandan cupcakes are too good.I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!
Love their choux! Really tasty and such a hard thing to find in Houston.
If you have a chance to order the Buche de Noel, do it and get the pandan coconut! It was a hit for both the young and old crowd! Sooo gooooood. I wish I got 2. I ordered the choco hazelnut and lychee berry too but will be enjoying it in upcoming days. This first one was so good I had to write about it.
