i put the oysters in my mouth and they instantly combusted in my jaws. They were so creamy and tender. So tender it made me want to beat my grandma.
Crawfish Cafe took me by surprise. I love crawfish and a real critic when it comes to it but crawfish Cafe was AMAZING! They were big and flavorful! It was packed. The was about 30-40 mins in which they texted you when your table was ready. The staff was very attentive and continued to check on us.
Man if this isn't the BEST place so far that I've eaten at to have some spectacular crawfish..I've been to too many places throughout Houston and this is definitely one of them. Some people might not care for asain style crawfish but.. Hey you don't know until you try.You can do 5 different levels of spice. And add whatever flavoring you want.They're menu is simple but straight to the point.. You choose your choice of seafood.. You add what you want weither its mushrooms, corn potatoes etc. And you pick you level of spice and what flavor. They also have plates like meals and appitizers.Our family got the reaper which is the hottest and extra spicy crawfish fish. My daughter is two but loves spicy food but we did not giver her the reaper.. It is very intense but oh so flavorful!!The price is very reasonable.. For 5 lbs of crawfish 7 drinks which four of them were two beers and 2 margaritas. I paid $77 and some change.We were restraunt hopping through chinatown so we were basically getting a snack between us 5.They crawfish are huge so you'll be fuller than you think.They drinks were good. The placed was packed so the waiter forgot a few things. But we've been here before with a different waiter and he was extremely good and schooled us on the history of this placed and the other locations they had.The restraunt was kind of like a sports bar type, had tvs with sports and music videos which the boys thought was awesome. My daughter liked the fact you could draw on the table. And I love the atmosphere.. My husband likes more of chinatown for its culture so he would of prefered it more cultural but he still enjoied it.It's very clean.. And small but bigger enough to have still a good space between other people or family's, or party's.I would definitely recommend this place for anyone to come during crawfish season or to get seafood thoughtout the year.I cannot wait to come back..? ? ??????Next time I go I'll update photos with menu and photos with more food shown
Really only get crawfish egg rolls when we go. They are really crispy and have a really good flavor. They’re completely addictive. We also tried the fries once and they were good also.
Ordered catfish n shrimp fried rice and fries, catfish was tiny but flavor was on point!Also ordered crawfish, we waited extra time because they had “little staff”. Crawfish came out barely room temp no flavor awful. Our Waiter was amazing tho!
The food was amazing! The Gumbo excellent! Just can't stop talking about the food! Pasta So Good!!!Crawfish Shrimp and Crab The Best!!!!!!Can't wait to go back! The Staff was on point
Got the original Cajun and it doesn’t disappoint! I love this place will definitely be back to try more flavors and the rest of the appetizing Menu!!
Second time here but one of my best friends frequents this establishment. Service was great; staff young and knowledgeable. 2 stars docked due to not disclosing pricing for my snow crabs which were $45 per cluster. At 2 clusters, that’s $90 so it should be a good practice to let your customers know what the cost may be (even an estimate) so there are no surprises. Granted, the snow crabs were cooked to perfection and quality was great. Their crawfish was expensive more than other places at $11 per lb which is fine. However I had too many crawfish pieces that were soggy and overcooked. If you expect someone to pay $11 per lb on crawfish even in January, it would be prudent to make sure the quality of the food is top notch. I don’t mind paying for top notch goods, but transparency with prices and quality of food should be respected.
These were the juiciest most flavorful crawfish I've ever had! I love them and they can keep having my money all their menu is the best!!! easily one of my best finds!!!!
