It is expensive, but the service and ambience and food are worth it for a special occasion. We had margarita pizzas, carbonara pizza, and the steak. Everything was very good and the servings were adequate size. A fantastic pile of cotton candy with a sparkler comes for a birthday guest. The tiramisu was good, but not great - quite dry and the only thing we ordered that wasn’t amazing. Wouldn’t order again. We saw some tables with something resembling a bread/focaccia basket but we never got one. We would have assumed to get something like that at a place like this, but I guess others ordered it for a cost. The service was friendly and timely. There is valet parking but there is also street parking nearby. We will definitely return again with our family.
I love coming here whenever I get a chance. The food is always amazing and the service is so good. We’ve had a little of everything on the menu and you really can’t go wrong. We usually order multiple plates and share everything family style, it’s the best.I will also note, eating by candlelight just makes everything that much better.
Mama Mia. They got you covered. Traditional Italian. Pasta made on premises. Dolchetto was on the wine ? list. Gotta respect a delicious Italian import. Bravo ?.
Shrimp pasta
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Our waitress, Rachel H., made the evening unbearable. To begin, she did not bring us a drink/wine menu and had an attitude when I requested one, brought our dishes out 15 minutes apart, and brought my sober/underage boyfriend a vodka tonic instead of his refill of Sprite! When we brought this to her attention, she brought the manager who audibly LAUGHED at the mistake and did nothing to reconcile the mistake. The Sprite refill never came nor did anyone apologize for the mistake. For a $75 bill (consisting of 1 glass of wine, a pizza, and pasta), we expected respect and decency as a minimum but was left with an underwhelming waste of a night.
There were four of us. One got pasta with red sauce. one got a shrimp dish, and two of us got the veal shanks with pasta. All of the food was very good. We would recommend this restaurant.
We love going to the Coppa! The food is consistently delish. The wine are priced excellent! The atmosphere is eclectic , but caring and enjoyable. Having a birthday or special occasion, they make if fun! I just saw that this restaurant wasn't in the top 20 in Houston....very sad. I vote for it to be #1
We had a great experience at Coppa Osteria. The ambiance was romantic and the service was excellent. The Tre Burri appetizer was one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. The pizza was a bit dry but still good. Would highly recommend this place.
The service was excellent. The carbonara pasta was delicious. The Nero pasta was okay, but not great. The price point is on the high side for what you get but in line with the area.
Recommended to us by an individual at MD Anderson. We received good news there while on a visit and were looking for a place to celebrate. Great food and a wonderful staff. Pasta is made on site. Only problem I have is that the wine is very, very expensive. $18 for a house red. Alfredo was our server and was wonderful.
