We had the Nutella muffin, vanilla scone and cookies. Everything tasted good, not great. They did not taste fresh at all, probably because we went during their last hour of opening when they have their 50% off. All the items tasted the same with overwhelming sweet taste. Staff was friendly and very quick with their service.
Serves and employees extra effort are the only reason I put 2 stars, as I needed a recent and the lovely person helping notice that mother crescent was missing from my ordef. Ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich, to-go, oy thing I asked for was the slaw on the side. Upon opening my sandwich the following was missing; spoce butter, garlic aiolio and pickles. I got a dry looking piece of chicken and dry slaw. Heard good things about this establishment, but if this is the quality of the food they present I'll just go to another sandwich shop.Decided to eat the sandwich, as it was my lunch, chicken is beyond dry. The shoe string fries are good though.
Cute and quirky spot with a quite environment. Noticed several people studying. We had a hibiscus tea with a Boston Creme Kugelhopf and Lavender Mimosa with a Fruit Tart.I enjoyed the fresh flavor of the hibiscus tea but the BCK wasn't exactly what I expected. Im more of a Boston Creme Donut kinda gal so the Kugelhopf breading was a bit too dry for my tastebuds. The creme and fudge were delicious!The Lavender Mimosa was good. You could taste the lavender in it. The Fruit Tart was very pretty. We expected it to taste sweeter than what it actually was. We felt like the filling had no flavor.
Great pastries and coffee, chef's scramble was great too. Lox sandwich felt a little overloaded, and over powered three lox.
It’s my favorite place since I moved to Houston. I always order a Vanilla Latte & Almond Croissant - so good! The croissant is a little expensive but it’s irresistible. Also, cozy decor around Christmas time.Having a larger coffee takeout cup would be nice!
Always fresh and tasty. Coffee is good, too. We usually meet friends here Saturday mornings.
I love Common Bond. However you charging $3.25 for a 12 oz soda is beyond ridiculous. Just get a fountain machine so you can offer your customers a better choice that’s cheaper and they can get refills.
I love the espresso, and the pastries… and I love more that I walk to the place! I do not need drive! ❤️
The staff was super friendly. The wine pour was large! The steak frites was very good, steak cooked perfectly but alas the shoestring fries were cold.
I had a wonderful meal, coffee, and dessert at Common Bond Medical Center today while waiting for a family member having a procedure today. I even left my wallet at the restaurant when I rushed off. When I realized ir hours later, I called the restaurant as I retraced my day. And, they had it for me. I really liked Common Bond; now I love the place and your staff. How can I reward you all for helping me with my wallet? And, thank you!!!
