40 years in business, 20 with the "new" owner.The food is all spot on. Everything you want from a neighborhood "burger joint," but elevated in both quality and quantity. Neat spot as well-but the real home run here is the owner. One of the best burgers in town! I had the Kobe beef burger and wedge fries and everything was amazing! The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is as nice as you’d expect, you can’t go wrong being in this part of town. Certainly not the cheapest burger but the quality ingredients make it worth every penny!
Great friendly service, great burgers. However I’m not sure I’ll be back as the prices are a bit too high.$17 for cheeseburger + fries
So dang delicious! Very tasty burger and fries. Checked all the boxes and hit the spot. And big props for the delicious grilled chicken sandwich for my hubby, taking special care to make sure that none his food allergens were in his meal!
Best burger I have had in a while! This place is definitely worth checking out. Good food selection with every fry option you could want.
I ate dinner with some friends here the other day and was really disappointed after reading the other great reviews. I'm not sure if it was just near closing or something but the food was just not food. The fries were lukewarm and had no seasoning, the chicken sandwich I got was okay at best. The worst part is it was $20+ each for all of us and we each only got a sandwich and fries! I think the menu said my sandwich was $11 so I don't know where they got an extra 10+ dollars. I hope I was there on an off day but I would not recommend this place.
Xlnt guest service. Nothing but 1/2 lb. burgers, so expect to be sleepy after lunch. Onion rings decent but a little oily. Overall, good old fashioned burger joint.
The Kobe Beef Burger is better than any hamburger I have ever had. It beat the Wagyu I tried in Colorado. The Short Rib burger was very good too. And the BBQ Brisket Baked Potato was phenomenal. Like heaven on a fork. I'll recommend this place to anyone and everyone that I know, who passes through Houston. Thanks guys!.
I was so hungry and it smelled so good when I walked in, I didn’t have time to take a “before” picture. lol but here’s the aftermath, great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back. ?
