So far, our experience has been good. The place looks clean, good customer service and the food has been good as well.
Thank you Chow Wok for a great late lunch. Your lunch special had a lot of food for an amazing price. The service was amazing and everyone was super polite. The owner even checked on his tables. The food was all hot and delicious. We are not from Houston and were passing through. If we find ourselves in Houston again. We will definitely have to drop in again. You made our drive home awesome. Im glad we decided to pick a place at random.
Food is always hot and fresh. We particularly like the egg drop soup, cream cheese puffs, shrimp egg rolls, and the sautéed Tofu with brocolli, plain rice noodles. Thank you.
I was misled by the other reviews. This place really isn’t that good. The pork eggrolls were dry and had a funky taste. The wonton soup was OK but there were no green onions in it and when I say OK I mean that at the highest point it could be. The ribs must’ve been swimming in the container of sauce. They would’ve been much better if the sauce had been cooked into the meat instead of slathered on with a paintbrush. The best I can give this is it a 2. Yuck! I had about five bites of this meal that cost me over $10 and I had to throw it away
Pineapple chicken and orange chicken were pretty good but WHAT THE FRIED RICE IS THIS? I’ve never seen any “Chinese” restaurant just pour some soy sauce on white rice, warm it up a little and call it fried rice. Even Panda Express puts veggies and egg in their very basic fried rice. I think I’ll steer clear of Chow Wok.
It was my first time ordering from them, I ordered house specials fried rice and beef with egg plant, they were both very delicious, and the price is good. I would order again.
Very good priced lunch special, lunch special comes with fried egg rolls, soup, fried rice or steamed rice.Best thing is the food came out HOT! great for a cold raining day.Your americanized chinese food dishes, a bit saucy on the stir fried entree, but very tasty.
This entirety place is a neighborhood gem! Amicable staff. Great customer service! Very friendly and welcoming.Their menu is extensive. Fantastic food, reasonable prices.This place does not disappoint!
Great food and fast and friendly service and atmosphere. I’m hooked eggplant with garlic sauce. The prices are reasonable and food portions are plenty, even the lunch special, 5.99.
