We enjoyed the service and quality of the food. The lunch special General Tso's chicken was very good. My wife got the chicken, shrimp and beef mandarin style, it may have been slightly better...both great. We both got the wonton soup and they were really tasty, the broth had a lot of flavor, the noodles were slightly al dente....just the way I like them. The egg rolls that came with each meal were small and average. They keep a lot of condiments on each table during the meal, I like not having to ask for Chinese mustard, hoisin sauce, soy.......Order at the counter and they bring it to you....we'll be back.
I will not continue to support this particular chain after what we experienced. I am an active traveler and have tried China Stix chains in California and San Antonio. My family and I had excellent experiences at both of these locations, and I was looking forward to the same here. However, this site did not have the same level of hospitality as the others. I was quite disappointed by the service and quality of food. We were given the incorrect order and the servers seemed very unapologetic. In fact, they made us feel like we were in the wrong-doing for pointing out their mistakes. Unfortunately, the food here was not good enough to make up for the terrible service that we experienced. Please put more efforts in training the staff to be more customer friendly.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would!!! To say the food was disgusting is an understatement. It was bland, dry, and cold. On top of that, the customer service is THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I ordered food to be delivered at 7PM, I called multiple times past 7PM to check on my order. I finally got a hold of them at 7:40PM only to be screamed at by the "manager" RICHARD. He is the nastiest and rudest person I have ever spoken to. He was yelling over the phone telling me I shouldn't have canceled my order etc., I told him I was the wrong person and I was actually calling to check on the status of my order. He just said, "my bad." I don't know how this place is still open with disgusting food and even more vile staff. Please save your money and just take your business elsewhere.
If only google allowed me to give 0 stars..!! The food was horrible. I wouldn't even chop the food up and feed it to my dog it was that bad. Customer service was even worse. Richard the "Manager" needs some more training. He was very disrespectful and ill-mannered. I was so shocked this type of behavior was coming from a manager. I will not be sending another dime at this establishment.
I had a really hard time finding good Chinese before moving to a new apartment down the road and I'm really glad this place is here. The food is superb. I've had a number of the shrimp dishes because in my experience, shrimp is VERY difficult to work with and I figured it would be a good test of the cook's mettle. My least favorite dish so far was the Jumbo Crispy Shrimp only because I found the sauce a little bit too rich for my taste, but it was still amazing. The portion sizes were great and the shrimp was perfectly battered and cooked. I've also had the Kung Pao shrimp which I was over the moon with. I also recommend the broccoli with garlic sauce; this is an old favorite from when I lived in Brooklyn and China Stix nailed it. Excellent work! The service is generally pretty good. It can range from being very pragmatic (giving you what you ordered in a timely and professional manner) to being really very friendly depending on who you're talking to but I haven't had a bad experience yet so well done there, too.The space itself is kept very clean and the layout itself is quite nice as well, including a row of seats at a counter for those dining alone and a healthy number of table seating.Overall a 5/5 and I would recommend!
This was our first time eating there, but we heard some decent things about it, so we decided to give it a try. The staff was polite, so they weren't the issue. We got there at about 9pm to order take out. We ordered kung pao chicken with fried rice and curry chicken with white rice and a hot & sour soup. The order came out super quick (like 5 minutes or less), which should have been an indicator. The fried rice came out burnt and honestly kinda flavorless. The curry chicken was really bland, and the curry was really watery. It almost looked like broth instead of curry with about very little chicken and mostly (90%+) vegetables. The kung pao chicken was bland with no hint of spice whatsoever. The hot & sour soup was VERY salty and not hot, only sour. The only thing that was decent was the plain white rice and the cold Vietnamese rolls...and that's a shame. By the time we got home it was too late to try to return anything because they close at 9:30pm. Even now the food remains largely uneaten. We spent over $30 for dinner and we are blatantly unsatisfied. I really hope this bad experience was a one-off and other customers get much better quality food here. Unfortunately, we don't have any plans to return here, nor will we recommend it to our friends or acquaintances.
Great food love the noodles and order for a party everything was on time and fresh.
Every other place sucks. We need more China Stix locations to take them out of business.I love the sauce and the people. Feels family owned and nice.
Ordered sesame chicken with fried rice. The chicken was OK. But the rice was horrendous. I usually love fried rice and all food. But the rice tasted like ASHES and smelled like BURNED HAIR.
Outstanding dishes its better than about 9 yearsBefore owner sold. Keep it up team. I guess cashier was sad she had to work day after xmas.Food perfect......
