Cute little bakery hidden in the corner of a shopping center. We got our order to go so we could eat in the park, but the shop was clean and had interesting art and decorations. Our treats were beautifully executed and delicious. The sachertorte was a tender and chocolatey gluten free cake that doesn’t sacrifice texture for dietary restrictions.
French-style pastries that remind me of Japanese bakeries. Peaceful and beautiful. Their chocolate croissants go very quickly, so you've got to come early to get them. I got the ocean sandwich, mousse fromage, and chocolate croissant. Their coffee espressos are fantastic as well.
The cashier is super nice, the environment is really calm and the food is so amazing! I would recommend coming here for a relaxing breakfast or brunch.
I tried searching for a Japanese bakery many times but always was pointed out to other Asian bakeries. Chez Kobayashi carries a Monte Blanc pastry on certain days which is a hard to find chestnut dessert that I really love (yes I know am overly sweet mass produced variety is in some local Asian grocers). The pear almond tart was excellent as well as the Japanese style crepe and Brie croissant sandwich. The staff was friendly and even the customers seemed really nice as well. I would have stayed longer if my baby boy wasn’t squealing up a storm. I wonder if they might start partnering with Seiwa since Baton bakery seems to be closed temporarily. I just wish there was a location closer to Sugar Land!
Loved the gluten free options: sachertorte(German/Austrian chocolate cake)Almond cake and creme brulee which I delightfully devoured in 2 minutes flat! Not to be missed, the croissants and pain au chocolate look legit(I lived in France) but they were gluten full so not for me. I'll be back for sure!
Cute Japanese bakery that is technically a French patisserie. I had higher expectations going in but overall it's good. I ordered the ocean/salmon savory crepe and a hot cappuccino. The salmon is fresh but the taste is underwhelming. I would stick to the baked goods here. The souffle looking pastry is very good.

Excellent croissant. Flaky golden crust and layers of goodness inside. The tarts are perfect as well; the base is consistent throughout and met my expectations. I'll be back!
