It was a great experience myself and fiancé was our first time there and we enjoyed every bit of the ambience decor and food . Waitress was great as well and checked on us several times
Great food and location. The bar is fantastic...perfect place for our anniversary dinner.
we never got food. We sat there for over 20 minutes and all we got was water. when we asked for the HRW menu, the waiter attitude changed and gave us the cold shoulder. it took 10 minutes we finally got water and the HRW menu. of course when he was pouring water, he spilled some on the table and menu and then just left. Again after 20 minutes my wife said she was done so we left. Talked to the Manager, Sam, they apologized, but the waiter was standing right there and of course gave us a strange look but never said anything. My wife is refusing to go back to the place due to the waiter.
The food was excellent. I was taken there for my birthday and received excellent service. From the drinks to the shareableâs the food was amazing as well as the atmosphere. Will definitely be returning. Also would suggest to friends and family for their occasions as well.
Brenners is always fantastic, both food and service. We had a great time celebrating our 6 year anniversary, our waiter was amazing. The only small complaint I have is that when I made the reservation (several weeks early) I put in the notes that we were celebrating our anniversary and asked for a table with a nice view of the outside. The hostess who sat us gave us a table literally at the entrance to the kitchen and the restrooms, then when I asked for something else had a bit of an attitude and told us nothing else was available, but then I later saw her seating those same tables I had asked about. We still had a great time and will return but a word to the wise donât get your heart set on a special view for a special occasion.
Overall I was disappointed. The crabcake and lobster bisque were amazing but all our steaks were over cooked. Service was extremely slow. 20 min to get sat when the restaurant was empty. 20 min to get our bill back after giving my card. Bar was slow with wine. It just wasnât great service and majority of our food was just ok. Itâs a pretty place, Iâve been several times but this may have been my last. For what you pay, the food and service should be a bit better.
Love the atmosphere and the landscape on the outside. Itâs beautiful! The salads were not as fresh but the steaks were good.
Love, love, love Brenner's on the Bayou. Food, service, ambience impeccable. Best restaurant in Houston to celebrate any occasion. Highly recommend. Cant wait to go back!
Mums birthday
