Good and flavorful food, fast service and friendly staff at two locations I visited. Good prices and menu selections. Take away drinks are awesome. Love the shrimp and grits & stuffed fish.
I order the salad, boudin balls, & combination etouffee. Everything was so good!! I did have to add salt and pepper to the etouffee. I highly recommend to go if you are in the area.
Boudreaux's has been a favorite every since I had them cater our department Holiday party several years ago. Since that time, we regularly place orders for various department lunches. This time I thought it would be awesome to expose my hubby to all of their deliciousness. THEY DID NOT DISSAPOINT. The stuffed fish was superb, the fried green tomatoes were scrumptious....heck everything I've tried on their menu so far has been a 10.
Shrimp etouffee and jalapeno cornbread. Everything was delicious ? cornbread was moist, shrimp was cooked well, rice was on point.
After a long day outside it was great to walk I to a cool building. It was very crowded, so we walked right up to the register to order. The cashier was nice and very helpful. When we got our food down hill things went. Lots of whitening my plate, meaning the portion size was very small. And my veggies were cold .... uggg. I then told the guy I was missing food to which he rudely replied its on the table. Sorry sir, that the food she ordered, I still need mine. He was very agitated as he walked away to go get it. Needless to say, we got no more service after that. I won't be back!!
the service was good the food was terrible my gumbo had 2 shrimp and it was to salty I just may try again but not soon. I look like I had tomato soup which I don;t like.it didn;t even taste like gumbo .but the service was good the lady that was on the cash register was very nice. They came to the rescue after a family night out at the Ice-skating rink. The kids were hooked on the pinball machines. I gave each of five a $1 bill to play; and that worked while waiting on the food. It made for a great evening with family. And the combo of Cajun and seafood hit the spot. I had the Shrimp and Grits. First time having it their way! And they did not disappoint! Thanks Boudreaux's!
The shrimp and grits was good but extremely rich in flavor(butter). Interior wise, it’s a bit outdated. Boudreaux’s used to be way different few years ago but it’s gone down a bit now. If you are a Cajun food lover like me, you might look elsewhere.
From Fort Worth...in town for work...listen honey Best lunch decision I've ever made in Houston! Sweet potato bread pudding is a must!!! The food is fresh and very well seasoned. Not to mention the SUPERB customer service. The manager Louis & Alexandra V. Are sweethearts and made our experience worth it. Rather you take to go or eat here STOP! EAT! PRAY! LOVE! ONLY AT BOUDREAUXS ? This 4 hour drive back full fat and happy!!
