I was pleasantly surprised! It’s been YEARS since I’ve eaten at Boston Market, so I decided to revisit. When restaurants close that were once popular, you automatically assume the quality has gone downhill. I’m happy to report that is not the case here. Though they didn’t have my original order idea, they did have a new item I’m now glad I tried. The chicken salad sandwich. I personally am a huge fan of chicken salad sandwiches, so I went for it. The sandwich was good! The topping were fresh and the chicken itself was a good mayonnaise to chicken ratio. I got a side of mashed potatoes to go with my sandwich. They were the same good potatoes I recall from years ago. The service was good and the restaurant seemed to be clean overall. The outside needs a little attention, but other than that, my experience was good. They still have a drive through for those who like to wear pj’s all day and not have to fully interact with people. (I am one of those people on weekends! ?)
I come to this restaurant every once in a while and the service has been good for the most part. When I order the chicken they explain the different versions of chicken they have. This time around this young African American lady didn't bother to explain anything, felt like she was rushing me. I asked for a large drink and she gave and charged me for a small one. I asked for a certain flavor drink that I always get here and she started with the sentence "We don't have" until she realized that they did have what I was asking for, which goes to show her negative customer service disposition. Finally, when she gave me my order, she closes the window before I can ask for anything including the correct size of the drink and didn't even do the basic customer service thing and say "thank you" or anything, she just slammed the window. Ill never come back to this spot again. If I could give you a ZERO, I would.
Boston Market is one of the places that comes to mind after work on a long Friday... Or is it anymore? The food quality has decreased dramatically. Our order consisted of 2 items in promotion (the Rotisserie Prime Rib and Crispy Chicken Sandwich). While the order was fulfilled as requested and the staff was VERY polite, the quality of the food was well below average. The crispy chicken was taken off the oven, no longer crunchy, and still cold. The prime rib was cold and tasted like a bag of salt and pepper, the mashed potatoes were cold, the mac n cheese was not creamy, rather watery, and the drink options were limited. The sad part is that I am willing to drive 25 minutes to get this type of food and be disappointed. The staff recognized the chicken seem to have been made a while and exchange for meatloaf. While the gesture is appreciated, the meatloaf was hard like a brick and was quite cold. We still took it because we knew it was not going to make a difference.
Two stars… 1 for the food… the additional star was for service as the service was great—> no complaints on service, this review is all about the food… worst Boston Market meal I’ve ever experienced. I ordered the meatloaf with a side of macaroni and steamed vegetables and a piece of cornbread. My macaroni is swimming in watered down cheese. My Meatloaf was meh… it tastes old… like it was frozen months ago, and thawed out weeks ago… it is not fresh. I also ordered a sweet tea, which tastes like it was made with dirty dish water… I couldn’t finish it I had to throw it out for fear of throwing it up… The cornbread is so soft, gushy almost, like it’s undercooked. I’m disgusted by this meal. I’ve always supported Boston Markets, this was my first time attending this location and it’s ruined the whole franchise for me.
Turkey, mashed potatoes potatoes and Mac and cheese. I’m sure everything else is good too. Good looks and tastes fresh. Love it here.
Agreat experience from the moment I entered. I was greeted, my questions were answered, and she took my order. My order was quickly prepared and I was on my way home. The chicken was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. All of the sides complimented each meal.
Excellent staff and managers. Adelia is one of the shift leaders and she is amazing. Its always a pleasure seeing her.
