Food was...okay...but I later found out that I was charged $20 for two tiny slices of pizza and a glass of water. ? Honestly a joke. When I called the store, the manager was rude and didn't do anything to refund me. And of course they didn't give me a receipt so I had no way to prove anything. I honestly think one of their crooked employees tipped themselves 10 dollars on my order. Just ridiculous. There are so many great pizza places in Houston, and this isn't one of them.
I Am surprised Big MOMMA aint there no more. she had BETTER STAFF with her when I last seen her. It looks like everything has changed even the atmosphere it is not the same. Walked in and new manager and staff rushed me fast to do my pizza with less Toppings even if I asked for a little more their Face said it all they wanted me gone. I felt like I wasnt welcomed. Customer service sucks plus pizza wasnt well done how I asked. Never again will I come back! If you dont want to work and have an attitude then what are you doing there period.
Great pizza and customer service. Try this place is you want a delish pizza at a decent price. My only complaint is I tried to leave a tip on my curbside order and it kept deleting it.
UPDATE: I received a call from this location (didn't get her name) apologizing for the issues with my previous order. The lady was very nice and offered to remake my order whenever I wanted to come back in. This time around my pizzas were perfect and had just the right amount of toppings. I appreciate them reaching out to me and making things right. I will be visiting this location again.ORIGINAL POST: I haven't eaten at this location in about 6 mths so I was extremely disappointed in my visit this past week. I placed my order online and arrived to pick it up at the time it was supposed to be ready. It was a Friday night so I wasn't upset about having to wait an additional 15 minutes for my order. What upset me was when I opened my box and saw my pizza.There was sooooooo much arugula on top that you couldn't see any of the other toppings. Once I removed the arugula I noticed that there were puddles of the balsamic glaze all over. I tried to pick up a slice and it was so soggy and balsamic glaze dripped all over my hand.The only special requests I asked for was extra roasted garlic and to cook my pizza well done so I'm not sure why the lady who put the finishing toppings would think it was ok to put that much balsamic glaze or arugula on a pizza.I wish I had taken a pic before I pulled off all the arugula.
I really like Blaze. They have a gluten free option that is light and doesn't work against my digestion. The thing that I don't like is it seems to be that different locations have different baking times/styles. Sometimes it's way too chewy, others it's too crispy. In this case, it was too crispy and that took away from the taste. I will say, however, that I was impressed with the atmosphere and the cleanliness. It was nearly impeccable.
Very unprofessional staff working now. They are not spreading the ingredients uniformly instead they just put all the ingredients in the middle. Because of this my pizza got soggy. I asked to put cheese over my pizza but she just overloaded cheese which I usually don't prefer that much amount. Before it was very good but after the change their employees it got worst.
So many options & Gluten option available for who would like that option, did the original dough witch is like a thin crust pizza, pizza was tasty & I revamped the Blackberry & basil drink is really good..
Blaze pizza in general is a great restaurant, this one is horrible. The food, the service, the experience was horrible. It's easy to see why there are no customers ordering and the employees are quitting left and right...The lack of care starts at the top and trickles down to the staff and the product. I've had Blaze cater my corporate events in other cities in the past so I was excited to work with them in Houston but after my personal experience, no only have they lost a business client whos spent a couple of thousand dollars there but a personal customer as well. I'm normally too bust to write reviews but this restaurant earned this one.
Quick and easy dinner a lot of people picking their pizzas but we ate inside. The temperature inside was really cold but the pizza was good
My best pizza house so far, since I'm from Las Vegas they're great too, so to be in H-town and able to continue to eat my favorite pizza, I am truly thrilled. Thank God
