Great ambience. It’s too loud inside if you want to come for a quick business meeting. We sat at the bar because of the humidity outdoors, I couldn’t even hear the other person in my party who was sitting next to me…we constantly had to yell over each other to have a decent conversation. The service was prompt, efficient and quick. I had an amazing experience with the wait and bar staff. The only reason I gave it 3 stars due to how loud it was, I ordered the Bibb salad, great taste but kitchen staff put vinaigrette on the salad when I requested and confirmed twice with the server that I did not want vinaigrette or dressing on the salad. Due to that, I probably won’t return to eat. However the drinks were really pleasant and well prepared.Ambience 5/5Wait and Bar Staff 5/5Noise Level for carrying conversation 1/5Kitchen Staff 2/5- food was ok, but the salad was not fresh. The grapes were wilted and looked like olives and not grapes. I did not see any celery on the salad as prompted. Chicken had great taste and well cooked, juicy.I’ll definitely return for drinks

Excellent fairly priced cocktails and wonderfulatmosphere. Our wait for a table of 6 was veryquick, we had a nice server, and enjoyed thefood. Some favorite cocktails were Intelle,Accident Count, and Train Your Granny. There are also great weekday deals, I will be returning for pasta on Tuesdays! The fries were great, and come with good sauce. The Party Melt was delicious but a little salty.

Always a great time at Better Luck Tomorrow. Been here thrice and all of my experiences were positive. Parking was never an issue in my visits because i always lucked out finding a spot at their private lot. However, there are also plenty of street parking available such in the case that you hit the bar at a very busy time. I was out with someone on a cold Houston night. The usual seats were not available due to the weather. There was still ample seating inside at around 7:45 pm on a Saturday night. It was cozy. You have to place your food and drink orders at the bar. Our orders were delivered within 15 minutes. I ordered shishito peppers and squid plus a vodka soda. My companion ordered a sandwich and the same drink. The food was really good. Just quite sad that my order only contained about 3 small pieces of octopus :( Regardless, the food here is really good. My personal fave is their brussel sprouts dish. Their cocktails here are amazing! Will definitely come back! Just hoping for more octopus pieces in that dish i ordered.

Myself and 3 others visited BLT for the first time last Saturday night. I was looking for a vibey place with food and decent drinks to celebrate my birthday. We arrived and were seated with no problem, but asked to move to another area of the patio with better heat. Once seated at our new table, our new server’s tone immediately changed. The rest of the night she would make snarky comments or act incredibly inconvenienced when we needed something. The majority of our group worked service jobs at some point in time and we’re always respectful and appreciative of waitstaff, so I am unsure what warranted the attitude we received. We ate our food, which is a bit overpriced and tasted average, and decided to move elsewhere in the Heights in an attempt to find a better experience. Definitely the right decision…Unfortunately, I can’t recommend BLT after our first, only and last visit. Servers have a tough job, especially during the pandemic, but I cannot give any level of grace to someone who treats patrons as pests. I really hope this was a “one-off” evening for Dulce (the name we were given when we asked, because she never introduced herself) and that she’s generally a rockstar server! Also, in a constructive tone, it would be great if BLT had a little more “by the glass” wine selection. The +2 stars are for the first server we had who graciously moved us to better heated area, and because the “party” melt was delicious although the chicken sandwich was not very good.

You want a place with a positive and young atmosphere? Come here! The drinks are marvelous, specially the Irish coffee and the draft beers... and the pancakes are one of the best we've tried. Will definitely be back again for a weekend brunch!

Fine stop! Just had a single cocktail and did some work. Got there around 4pm on a weekday. Very chill vibe! Awesome happy hour prices. Friendly staff. One day I'd like to try their food. Worth a stop for sure! Would recommend!

Came in during lunch time to try the famous party melt. The place wasn’t busy at all. The service is great here and the music playing was awesome. The melt itself was ok. It was pretty salty and the meat wasn’t spectacular. I was expecting more than just bar food but it ended up being just that. The toast used for the melt was pretty good tho. Definitely come for the bar and service but maybe not the food

Came here for pre dinner drinks. Very cool for a neighborhood spot. It was a bit of a wait and parking was a little tight but the drinks made up for that. Nice weekend or happy hour spot

Went for lunch, other cars in the parking lot waiting for it to open at noon as well. Nothing noted on the website, no sign on the door indictating they wouldn't be opening. At 12:10 one of the other ptotential customers said there was a note on Instagram that the restaurant would be closed until Dec 29th. Thanks for the heads up Justin.
