Love this place, lost my wallet with cash in it. Called them to check and they found it and returned it with everything still it. Even offer to give them money for finding it, but they said it’s ok.

For the first time I came here for packaged ramen and I noticed they had banh mi's. I got the banh mi special and it was a 10/10. definitely coming back
Banh Thanh Food market has a lot of exotic Asian foods that are not marketed in your local H-E-B or any other American grocery stores. I really like their ramen selection because they import a lot of different types of ramen from different places in Asia. The only issue with this place is that it is fairly run down and dirty. There are also issues with English communication.

Rude lady at the sandwich counter. She looks like she hates her job so much. She gets annoyed whenever someone orders something. Unprofessional!The guy cashier didn’t say a word. No word! No thank you. Just silence lolI love the banh mi here but the people who work here most of them are rude as hell. :)
I was assisted by a elder gentleman who helped with finding Char Su sauce. He even kept looking and found a better brand.

Please do not buy meat at this market. Here is my experiences: I bought 5 pounds of pork here. It looked fresh and soft. However, when I got home I found that it was so stinky and had to threw it away. After that, I bought 2 pounds of BBQ pork. After eating a portion of it, my entire family got bellyache. We had to throw the rest away.
