Food was amazing. It was our first time visiting, and it more than we expected. Jordan was a great server. Whenever we come back to Houston we will most definitely stop again.
A must eat when around this area. The food is off the charts, service is awesome with some super gorgeous ladies and a great atmosphere.
Our server Carlos was amazing! Told us about their Daily Feature of 5 pounds of Field Run bugs for $35! I love coming here! Y’all need to try Texas Twister margaritas and their Boudin balls!!!!!! Ohhhh and don’t forget the Loaded Pollo Bullets! ??? thank me later ☺️
So this is the third bb Tex Orleans Place and this is probably the best BB. We love the atmosphere and I think the potatoes here are the best among all the other BB. They are big and usually cut in half. The Louisiana seasoning is perfect of course. The hand select crawfish could be better as there are a few small crawfish among the “hand pick” crawfish. The wait is a little long and we didn’t think they should take away the wait online option on yelp at rush hour time. Overall, we will come back to this BB.
The only crawfish spot in Houston worth going to. Not too mention the 5 lbs/$25!All fixings charged separately*The bread pudding is also the truth ?
The seafood Gumbo soup is fantastic, plus their hushpuppy is great. There are two types of sauce for crawfish and we prefer tex-orleans style. Ordering 5 ponds is a better deal. Outside seating is great unless it's too windy. Go a bit early to beat the crowds.
Overall, the flavor was okay a little salt and tart. The butter and a good beer helped tone down the saltiness. There was a variety of sizes. The potatoes were on the smaller side compared to other places but it was tender. A little pricey for 2lbs, 2 potato, and butter $25. Customer service was great for Togo order. Jonathan was very helpful.
Great food and a wide variety! First time and we’ll be back!
This place’s food is really good, I have tried 3 different plates and they are always good, portions are generous and normally you wont be able to eat the full plate. People are nice its just service takes a little bit and if you are in a timed lunch break this could be a problem, but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Cajun food.PS: I forgot to take the picture before putting the rice in.
We came for crawfish. Ordered traditional Louisiana version. It was very good, but the place is pricey. Be prepared to enjoy the food, but not the bill.
