The food is quite good and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are friendly and responsive. The OJ is fresh squeezed where you can watch. For hot teas they have chamomile and a green tea when I went, hopefully they'll add a black tea option in the future. Parking is limited, but so is seating. There was a line out the door waiting for seats by the time my group finished. My friend who lives nearby loves the place but will readily admit, 'if there isn't parking that means it's too busy to wait.' However, if you can snag a parking spot, the experience is lovely.
Great down home comfort meals at very reasonable prices.Definitely love the sausage & chicken gumbo on Fridays!A must try when in Houston.Can't wait to get back there again, want to try that Meatloaf plate. It looks like a meal for two.Great work on feeding folks.

A waiter at this cafe misgendered my friend and called her an offensive term. You have the PRIDE symbol on your website and yet this is how your staff treats your patrons? You should be so ashamed. Your staff need to do better. The management needs to do better. Be better. I will never recommend a place where they encourage hatred.
Great food!!! We stopped by for lunch and ordered their Monday special which is chicken fried steak and I had their mashed potatoes (instead of fries). It was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Hawaiian pork chops with fries and wow, the taste was awesome! Highly recommend visiting this location. It is the original location, their decor is super cute, and the service was very good. Will definitely return!
Wow! We had breakfast here and it was fantastic. The service is super friendly and open for a little chat. The potatoes are cross and delicious. If you are around in Houston and looking for an awesome breakfast experience, you should try Barnaby's!
Very delicious burger. I got the blue cheese and bacon burger. A small cozy place with beautiful surroundings. Victor was our server. Very polite and welcoming. You have to taste the fries. They have amazing sessoning and there hot
Hands down, this location... the original, is my favorite Barnaby's! The food is great and the staff is super friendly. We enjoyed chatting with different servers there and even the customers kept it interesting.I had the buffalo burger and it was great! Cooked perfectly and finished off with fries, it was a great day to blow up cheat day.Parking was super easy, as they have their own lot.
I always love coming here. I bring anybody who visits from New York to this place. The one down in the Montrose. The staff is super friendly, the prices are decent, the food is fresh and plenty of it. The freshly squeezed orange juice is the best along with the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. They gave you plenty of coffee the area is fantastic very walkable if you want to take a nice walk right after breakfast or brunch.
