I ordered delivery from here and was pleased with how fast the food arrived and at how flavorful it was! I ordered the classic gyro w/ greek potatoes. It was a little salty for my tastes, but it was still good. My wife ordered the same, but she felt it was seasoned just fine, so it's a matter of taste. She couldn't finish hers and I forced myself to finish mine so the portion-size is plenty! All ingredients tasted fresh, including the large hummus that has a "dilly" flavor and is so good! Tzatiki sauce was good and we got a portion w/ each of our orders so we didn't need to order the extra that we did. This place is a good spot to replace another nearby spot that has recently closed. For our next visit we will eat inside see what they experience is like.
The food here is great. The dolmades are the best. Try the yemista, you will never eat stuffed peppers anywhere else and you damn sure will not bother making. They are other worldly. Lots of of traditional Greek dishes and, I dare say, none will disappoint. Bonus: They will cook meats provincial as one of the owners is classically trained French chef. About the owners, attentive and lots of fun. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. You will love it. Okay, the nonstop Greek music requires lots of wine to temper!

Can not wait to come back! Owner was super friendly and interacted with us telling me about menu. Food tasted delicious! Stopped in for a quick Togo order but cannot wait to come back and enjoy the atmosphere with bottle of wine.
.... but I don't. Whether I look on Google or Yelp, I see one five star review after the next, and I absolutely do not get it. The service is great, the owner is delightful, but the food just doesn't cut it. The meat is so salty on the gyro plate it is bordering on not being edible. My friend ordered the moussaka and it was over cooked and burned on the top layer. Some things are great, but I've tried 3 times now to understand what others are seeing that is excellent and I just don't see it. Even their tzatziki sauce is a miss to me. It mostly tastes like plain yogurt to me.. It's no Niko Niko's and I miss Theo's down in Montrose. Nice people, so I'm glad so many others love Athena's. We don't.
Absolutely the most authentic Greek restaurant I’ve been to since my last visit to Greece. The food is fantastic, clearly from scratch and made with love, and the service is impeccable. You feel as if you’ve walked into a dear friend’s home for a family meal. I can not recommend this place enough
I am true lover of Greek Food and when I learned of Athena's Greek Kitchen in my own neighborhood, I just had to give it a try. I am very picky about my favors and freshness. Also, I like to have a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Athena's offers all this and more. If I could give Maria the owner of the restaurant more stars I would. She has, hands down the best greek food ever. Also, she and the staff are super sweet and provide excellent service. Family friendly. Very cute and well decorated inside. Clean, Clean, Clean.. When I can't make it to the restaurant, I order online and have my order delivered to my home. Super fast and convenient.. HIGHLY recommend Athena's... Thank you Maria for all you do.
