Always great! Great food and value. I have been eating here since it was just a little shop down the road. The chicken is moist and the beef is tender. I have never had a bad meal here. The only issue is when you eat it all you want more. Everyone is always friendly, service is quick and it’s great for dine in and take out. I was too excited to dig in that I forgot to take a picture!
Came across this restaurant when looking for some great coffee. Let me tell you the coffee ☕️ here is mind blowing AMAZING!!!! If you are a baklava lover then you will be in heaven.They have 8 different kinds that are made fresh daily. I tried their chocolate baklava with my coffee while there, but picked up two walnut traditional baklavas and one apple baklava that looked amazing as well for later tonight.The young friendly lady that waited on me was named Deli and she recommended trying the Americano and it did not disappoint.The Turkish coffee was favorable, and very smooth even though it was a dark coffee. The establishment was very clean and had lots of space for people to kick back in.I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area or even make a special trip. I haven't tried their lunch that they offer, but this morning the aromas that were coming from the kitchen smelled divine! If you are looking for an amazing place then look no further you will be glad that you stopped by.
First time going to Phoenicia Deli. For a cafeteria-style restaurant the food was quite good and fast even with the lunch crowd. I had their falafel salad with 2 sides and had more than enough with their serving size. Based on the traffic in the place, it appears to be the go-to stop for lunch by the locals. Good food and atmosphere - a nice place!
We were surprised at the variety of European and middle eastern foods. So much to choose from. Loved the olive bar and the fresh bakery and deli.
We were greeted immediately by pleasant and cheerful staff, ordered the morning rita and maria bloody mary which both were delightful ?, bartender is on point, we ordered an omelet, shrimp and grits, and the pork chop breakfast, everything was good just a bit room temperature because I like my food hot, the only complaint I have is when the waitress was supposed to bring me some limes for my drink and she forgot, instead she sat in the chair in the pic I posted playing on her phone, so sad, other than that, I would revisit but won't sit in her section.
Took off one star for the lady that was at the cashier who failed to acknowledge us when she was on the phone. I understand she might've been taking an order but she could have at least said "one moment" or acknowledged us. Took off another star for the fact that the chicken shawarma did not have pickles or fries as indicated. Just chicken, sauce, and tomatoes. Otherwise, the shawarma was good. I just wish it was complete.
One of the best dinners I’ve had and beenVisiting the Phoenicia deli since it was a little store 20 years ago I tried their schwarma for the very first time and have been loving it ever since then. Their crisp pita chips with that white garlic sauce is fantastic and can be added as a side to any plate just ask. The chicken schwarma with white sauce also has tomatoes and I ask for their pickles because they are so delish. The berry & the mango gelato is exceptionally smooth light and tasty highly recommend too. Great price and delish food my kind of spot, check ‘em out soon and see why we love it here!
I got a hair inside my Kibbeh. The person who I talked to offered no apology. I was clearly about to throw up. He gave me another Kibbeh with no words what so ever. No refund offered too. I found staff to be unfriendly and impatient. It wasn’t a good experience. I’ll stick with other authentic Mediterranean restaurants.
This is the first time I come here with my family and as I was eating the falafel sandwich, there was a HAIR STUCK IN THE FALAFEL WRAP. I asked for a full refund of $80 because I had my 4 children with me so I’m not sure what they ate! She just refunded me $7.95 for the wrap. So I don’t embarrass them in front of other customers, I waited till I got home to call them and the owner said she would only refund me for the sandwich! She also shut in my face after I told her I’d leave a bad review! A Very disrespectful Owner!
Finger licking Kibbah? great Lebanese Kibbah and don’t forget the Shawerma enjoy the taste. The staff there are cheerful and amazing working tirelessly.One my favorite place in lovely Houston.
