What a gem! I was just trying to kill traffic from TMC to Katy. The muffulata is life changing. ? can't wait to try the other sandwiches and bring my BF. The sandwich was literally perfect and blows so many restaurants out of the water. Stop by Angelo'z if you want good food. A great end to my long day. ?
This is a cool little store and the people were nice… however they advertise “world’s best po-boys”… not even close! Ordered two shrimp po-boys and maybe got one shrimp! ?. But they do have neat stuff there.
Can't go wrong, from the Philly cheesesteak , or the PoBoys ( favorite: Supreme) . Always order extra for late night cravings.
Arguably the most original poboy left in Houston. Very hearty sandwich for a reasonable price.
Good food, love the chicken salad and macaroni salad. Employee at the register was very nice.
Anton’z takes the guesswork out of ordering a sandwich. They don’t ask what what kind of bread or what you want on it. Although, I’m sure they would oblige with any changes.I ordered a club sandwich which only comes in one size. It’s slightly larger than a Subway 6 inch sandwich. It was quite good and bit more than you might pay at another chain sandwich shop. I also ordered the potato salad which really hit the spot.As others have commented, the staff were friendly and patient. Give it a try if you want a different tasting sandwich.
Fantastic food, and quick. The whole muffuletta is worth the price of admission. This place is a wonderful, hidden gem.
Cubano... cuban sandwich is awesome, well my favorite, everything I tried is fantastic. Great place to hit before a football game, affordable tasty food.
Worst poboy I've ever had! The shrimp were tiny and taste like they were prefried and reheated hard little rocks onsome good bread! Other sandwiches look awesome so if you go try those. Service is great otherwise it would be a one star!
Came in for lunch after noticing they serve Po'Boys. The staff is very friendly and know their regulars. No masks on staff but some clients wear them. There are a few tables behind thrle self srve fountaindrinks dispenser that serves ur normal cocacola brand sodas. it's a nice small place, great for a nice quiet lunch with someone because of its very laidback atmosphere. I ordered the Shimp Po'Boy with chips and a fountain drinkfpr under $12 not including tip. I enjoyed the sandwich, the bread was toasted with a slight char that i really enjoyed. The spread they use was good and well complimented by the thin sliced tomatoes and crunch of the iceberg lettuce. However, I was left wishing they used larger shimp rather than the popcorn shrimp they used, though deep fried with good flavor some bites took longer to chew as the shrimp was fried but stale like.Overall a good experience that left me wanting more. I'd. give it a 3.5 bit there are no halves to give.
