I went with my husband to the Post Market location. The two stars are for the costumer service. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and it was too dry. The peruvian chicha tasted more like a sugar grape juice than chicha. My husband ordered the sauteed beef and you can count the pieces with your fingers and probably wasn't 10.So disappointed!

Not quite sure if there are two different locations but the one we went to was in a food hall so I'm only judging the location I went to. For $20 a person, the food was pretty bad. Platanos, fries and tostonoes were stale. I ordered "steak" but it was more like a piece of fajita meat. My mother's dish was "Coconut Shrimp" and I'll admit that wasn't bad. The cashier and staff were very nice. Our expectations weren't very high once we realized it was located in a food hall. Also, the parking system they have for that food hall is ridiculous. I hope to give them another chance if they have another location.

Went here and ordered the empanadas and the pollo a la brasa. The empanadas were among of the best I've ever eaten. The only knock on this meal was that my chicken was slightly undercooked when it came out - that said, I brought it up to the staff who then replaced it for no extra charge. The replacement dish (curry shrimp) exceeded expectations. Good food, good service, will come back here again.

The ceviche bar is amazing. I would compare it to ceviche at restaurants like Astrid y Gastón and Segundo Muelle, which are some of the most famous ceviche restaurants in Peru and Ecuador.Reservations are required for the ceviche bar. And don't be shocked by the prices, they're worth every penny for the outstanding, fresh food you get!

Andes Cafe is good. The cachapas are very delicious, made with the authentic Venezuelan meal. I do not recommend the scrambled eggs and the arepas are Colombian, not Venezuelan. The ceviche was very good. In general heir, they have a good variety of Andean region food food, but a lot of the dishes are more expensive than they should be for the setting and the presentation.

For me, food isn't just about nourishing myself with energy, but it's also about the experience! I think the ceviche bar at Andes Cafe was an experience. Located at The Post in Houston, they have a nice, cozy restaurant open in the corner of the food court.I ordered the Ceviche Mixto which had calamari, octopus, fish, sweet potato, and other delicious ingredients which gave it a nice, tangy blend of textures and flavors. Sitting at the bar, you can see the chefs going to work in front of you as they prepare the meal. They also give a complimentary, bite-sized sample which was a nice touch. My meal tasted fresh and exotic, comparable to some of the great ceviche meals I had in Miami. On top of the that, the staff was friendly and receptive to my questions. The chef was very passionate and competent, given his history with cooking. Overall, definitely looking forward to coming back and trying some of their new foods that they are coming out with too.

Delicious (spicy!) ceviche, the arepas con queso are crunchy with that salty hit from the cheese giving a great boost to the flavor. Quick service, fresh food, a great little start up.

We tried the Cachapa and it was great. The order taker was friendly and very helpful, and the owner/chef was standing out front to greet/help people too. I hope they are very successful in this location!

I had the pleasure of dining at the Grand Opening of Andes Cafe at POSTHTX today, they know how to make authentic empanadas!! Get yourself here!
