They have an awesome collection of add-ins and unique flavors of Ice-creams as well as vegan options. They offer waffle cones, bowls, shakes and malts, and pre made ice-cream cakes!
Very cute spot for a hang out, love the decor and seating. But I will say that I am not very impressed with the quality of the ice cream. The dark chocolate ice cream tasted great but it felt almost..rubbery and it left an aftertaste. And similarly the sweet cream tasted good, but it was icy.I do recommend their milkshakes, get that instead of the ice cream on its own.
One evening after arriving too late to another ice cream shop, we made our way to Amy's to try it for the first time. We were a party of seven and almost all chocolate lovers.The chocolate ice cream was highly underwhelming. It was extremely, coyingly sweet; easily the sweetest chocolate ice cream I have ever sampled, and it was extremely tough for me to finish my ice cream. It also had a grainy texture and the waffle cone it was placed in was also incredibly sweet.One member of our party chose a coffee flavor and was underwhelmed by that, as well. My father did, however, enjoy his peach ice cream.
Great place with great ice cream. This review is for the location in Austin off Manor Rd. The employee was very nice and did the ice cream flip trick without being prompted. Will be visiting here again whenever we are in Austin.
My daughter took me to get a shake and let me tell you they’re the best shakes in town. Try them you won’t be disappointed ❤️?
This place has the BEST ice cream I’ve had in awhile!!!! The place is so lively inside and one of the workers was so funny and was trying to get customers to sing to the music for a free cone! This is now my go-to place for some delicious ice cream❤️ (I already finished majority of my ice cream before writing the review because it was so good?)
I love Amy's Ice Cream!! They have so many flavors: Vegan, alcohol in some, ice/shaved, fruit, or sherbet and of course their regular 8 flavors they have daily. Out of about 20ish flavors 8 are the same and the rest are changed I'm assuming weekly? Out of the 4 times I've went I've enjoyed them all! And a huge plus they are open until 12am!! I enjoy a late night ice cream trip and this is the place to go!
Lovely location in midtown close to Audi dealership where i work. They have a great variety if different flavors and toppings. My favorite is the Mexican vanilla. It can be very crowded but they have a nice staff that doesn't rush you.
It’s a Texas staple! I worked here in high school and it’s just as wonderful now as it was then. I love the Mexican vanilla with strawberries and alwayssss get a pint when they have their Guinness ice cream.If you need a milk shake- it’s like all ice cream and wonderfulllll
I went here for the first time today around 8 pm. It wasn’t busy, just two people ahead of me. The staff were friendly, seemed happy, and very helpful with explaining the menu to help make my selection.I got the Mexican vanilla and short bread ice cream as a base and fruity pebbles as a mix in. It was delicious! I’m definitely going back with friends to try more flavors. Prices were fair for what I ordered.You couldn’t dine in likely due to the pandemic but that was fine.
