Amazing food! This is coming from a Mexican born individual that is used to good home cooked food ♥️ Their rice and green sauce is their signature along with everything else on the menu. I’ve taken every single friend that has come to visit Houston. Y’all have to try it! ¡SALUD!
Great little Mexican eatery! I tend to stop by when I'm in the area since Alma's is always reasonably priced, the wait staff are always attentive, the food always comes out in a timely manner and it's always fresh. The enchiladas here are the belle of the ball in my opinion, for such a basic dish they do it so well with their sauces and cheeses. The chips and salsa are great, the queso takes it up a notch and the margaritas are some of the best I've had at a restaurant. The parking here is a bit "fun" but it's ample parking for such a small place in its location. Definitely give it a go if you're nearby!
Really liked this restaurant service was great food was even better. Good salsa rice and beans and fajita was really tender! Could provide more guacamole and creama for the two person meal in my preference. Very authentic Mexican restaurant with a great atmosphere will try to go again.
The food is phenom! The rice is always so fresh.. i wanted pancakes one visit but then ordered a side of rice haha. Drinks are nice and strong!
Quite simply, THE MOST INCREDIBLE BREAKFAST BURRITO MY MOUTH HAS EVER TOUCHED. Utterly flawless. Reasonably priced for exceptional quality. Robust, zesty salsa served warm so you feel delightfully toasty on the inside and out. Hearty, packed tamales filled chock full with flavorful, moist meat. A uniformly delicious breakfast menu. Strong, delicious Mexican inspired cocktails. There's nothing not to like. I'm obsessed. Want to come back daily.
This is our go-to Mexican restaurant in the Heights when we’re visiting Houston. The food is very good at reasonable prices and plentiful. The margaritas are good. Service is quick and attentive. The menu is not too huge which to me means they’re practiced at what they do. Highly recommended.
They have pretty good traditional Mexican dishes. Their caldo de rez is really good and so are the enchiladas suizas.
I love coming here for lunch. Great good, fun atmosphere and friendly workers. The prices aren’t bad either.
Me and a good friend went there to eat. The food was very excellent seasoned and good. We couldn't eat everything but we had plenty to take home. This place deserves five stars
