I came to this sushi restaurant because the ratings were good, 4.3 stars at the the time of dining. We ordered appetizers and sake. Seaweed salad was partially frozen (chunk of frozen seaweed in middle). We asked about the crab, being in Galveston you would think seafood would be fresh. They only serve imitation crab! Chicken lettuce wraps, I couldn't even tell if it was chicken or dogfood it was minced and chopped to hell. It tasted gross too. The only food we ate were the Vietnamese egg rolls. They have to be fried fresh, so they were hot at least. We ordered 2 large hot sake and only one was hot. The other was warm, as if they can only heat 1 bottle at a time. There was no point in ordering a dinner since this was our appetizer experience. All in all it was cheap but I will not return. If you have a sushi restaurant on the coast, SERVE FRESH SEAFOOD! Still hungry when we left, we went next door to get a hamburger from McDonald's.

Akimi had affordable sushi options as well as many others. The Soups was hot and tasted fresh. The service was good but could improve. A great place for a dine in with a family. The overall experience was great. Keep up the great work!

Even though my wife have been getting takeout almost twice a week for a while the other night I bit into some beef in one of the stir fry dishes and when I bit into one of the pieces of beef there was something very hard inside that broke my tooth I called and told the manager about it a woman I don't know her name but she wouldn't give me a refund or credit telling me to bring the whole thing back and show her. As if I was lying and she wanted me to take an entire trip up there to show her that is ridiculous I worked in restaurants my whole life and I've never come across that kind of attitude your food is decent but shame on her. She doesn't seem to understand that a happy customer comes back and tells her friends but in this case I'm going to do the opposite and tell everyone I know and their friends via social media which I hardly ever use but will in this case how crummy the management is in your place.

Great spot to pop in for a comfortable dinner with the whole family after a day at Johnson Space Center. Location is perfect, it's across the street from the NASA area. Nothing fancy, prices were reasonable, food and service were both excellent. ✨️Sushi rolls were so good.✨️I guess we found our favorite eatery in Webster.❤?

Great food and service! If you've never been its worth it for sure. Sushi was good. And the general tso chicken was delicious. I only don't give 5 stars because the sushi nori in my sushi was a little hard to chew.

My husband and I love to come here, and have been for a few years now. We absolutely love it.They're nigiri plate is delicious. The pom pom sushi roll is delicious as well. If you're not feeling sushi, their beef yako udon is a winner as well. They have excellent customer service and treat customers very well.We have been so much that one of the waitresses remembers our order. Will definitely keep coming back.

The Resturant has been here for a long time. A friend said it was one of his favorites. So when I had a chance I tried it out. It's decent but plain. Understated decoration and the food is similar to the decor. Plain and simple. It is reasonably priced, but I doubt I would remember it 5 minutes after leaving. So ok for a quick lunch or bite in the area but I wouldn't drive out of my way

The staff was incredibly friendly. We had garlic edamame which was so delish. Also had 2 sushi Rolls and a salad. All incredibly delicious

I've only ever been once so this may not be derivative of their entire menu but their sashimi was awful and the Thai chicken curry with veggies was way too sweet. I just couldn't stomach it.

The food was excellent!! This was our first time here and we will definitely add into our restaurant rotation.
