Moved to the area and found this little gem. Lots of drink options as well. We tried the spicy tuna for protein and it was delicious!!!!
Great fresh ingredients. Stopped by for lunch and if there's a line, have in mind what you want in your bowl in order to not slow down the line of hungry customers. I ordered a two protein bowl with spicy salmon and spicy tuna. There were plenty of toppings to choose from. Pretty filling lunch. Your grains or salad might be buried underneath your toppings you added, so make sure you mix in them well.
I really wanted to give more stars, I really did but I can't say I'll go back. I went with my daughter and we each got a large poke bowl. One of my proteins was unagi. Our server grabbed a DIRTY bowl and put unagi in to warm up. Confused (because who would knowingly do that, right) I asked her, "are you really going to give me that dirty bowl?" She chuckled and replaced it. After we got our food, both my daughter and I had different issues. My daughter found a black piece of hair in her food. I have blonde hair, my daughter has red. I looked over at the girls behind the counter as they were filling orders and as they were leaning over the food to get the backtire row, their hair was brushing over all the food. At that moment, I bit down on something hard which looked like pieces of wood.Lastly, the acoustics in the restaurant are terrible. There was a party of 4 on the other end of the restaurant and us being the only other people in the store. I couldn't even hear my daughter who was right in front of me.. and the other party wasn't even that loud.I really didn't want to leave a bad review but...c'mawn y'all.
I order from here on a regular basis- it’s consistently fresh and delicious. I always ask for my protein on the side, and they always give so much! My cat Ned appreciates it .
food was delicious and beautiful would come back 100%. I had a mobile order and we asked for the 3rd protein to be eel but it wasn’t when we received it, it was the other protein I selected tuna, so i called and asked about the serving size for one order of eel and the woman who picked up the one actually made my order so we was able to explain what happened and where there was a miscommunication and helped me word it clearer so i could communicate what i wanted. great service and food!
It is delicious and a lot of food even in the small bowl, and very friendly service!
Of the four nearby Poke restaurants, this one is my wife's and my favorite by far. They have the freshest flavors and most variety of ingredients. Their prices have remained the best as well, even though the inflationary climate. Whenever I want someone to try Poke, this is the place I recommend.
I love these poke bowls! They're delicious. The bowls are served in abundance. I usually have enough left over to get a second meal.
The staff was welcoming and helpful. It tasted good and had a “build your bowl” option which was helpful because I’m a vegetarian/vegan. The only drawback was a little less quantity according to the price and tofu was raw inside even after they stir fried. The bite with tofu tastes bland. If only the tofu was either marinated or cut into smaller pieces (4 cuts of their regular size) it would be much more tastier.
Best poke bowls I've had in all of Houston. The shrimp bowl I got was full of fresh ingredients. Staff was super courteous and helpful, nice restaurant ambiance too. I need to come back and thry more options!
