One of my favorite places food is always fresh so welcoming and so respectful the older lady always brings out the food… so polite I love it here small homey type place but always clean and smells wonderful THANK YOU FOR YOUR WELCOMING SPIRIT EVERYTIME I COME????
The okra soup and fufu were delicious. Portions were huge. The atmosphere was comfortable and low key. I will absolutely come back here next time I'm in Houston.
I ended up going here because where i normslly go was closed and this place was near by. I only gave this place 2 stars because the food was hot and fresh BUT the soups lacked flavor. I ordered the banga and the egusi soup with pounded yam fufu. Both soups could have had wayyy more flavor. The meat was nice and tender I will say that. But considering banga is one of my favorites, I was very disappointed. $40 not well spent.
I’m Nigerian and have had Nigerian food all over the country. Their okra soup is the best I’ve ever had…i also don’t eat meat and they cater to my requests each time.
The vegetable soup with goat meat was pretty good. The meat was so tender, it could have been a little more spicy though.
Worst food I have ever bought, stale and not fresh. No flavor at all. Recooking left overs. To expensive. Avoid this place at all cost. Terrible.

Food was good and customer service was great. We always love eating at Afrikiko anytime we're in Houston. We enjoyed talking to them as well. I'll recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the best Ghanaian dish. Mama keep doing what you do best. Thank you.

Food was tasty. I had jollof rice with goat meat, while my daughter had peanut soup with beef and fufu and that was also good. Definitely will come back to this little spot!
