Ordered via Uber ear for 3 people , the food took longer and the Uber driver had to wait to get it . The wait was worth it , food was fresh seems like they just made the amala , the abula was really good and tasty. The issues for me was it was too much oil on the stew and the tripe/Shaki was too hard to eat. Every other thing was great.

We just moved to Houston and we’ve been eating out for over 3 weeks. Myself and husband came here yesterday and it was the best Amala, Ewedu and gbegiri we’ve had in America. We had to order extra plates to go. The meat pie and scotch eggs is so tasty, just like Sweet sensation/ Mr Biggs in Lagos.Kudos to Abula Hotpot

This is the best abula I have tasted in the USA, I am someone that travels a lot, I have been around places, tried several amala joints this is by far the best. I can’t wait to go back!

If you are visiting Houston, I will suggest you try this place. I had their Amala and it is hands down one of the best I've had in a very very long time in the States. My wife had fried rice and she confirmed it was superb too. Thanks for the great customer service as well.

Best food I have tasted in a long time. Customer service is 100%.. I will never miss this spot whenever I come to Houston. Thank you so much for your service. Great food…

Good food! Amazing service

The food was good. Definitely recommend.

It’s a hit or miss with these folks. Showed up here on Sunday @ 6.36 and their sign shows they’re open but the door was locked. I called multiple times and then started banging on the door. The lady comes to the door to say they’re closed. It was the most annoying thing ever. Why does it show they’re open till 10pm?. I drove 16mins and Ofcourse my time was wasted. Never coming back. Show some regard for people’s time and change your hours of operation.

My first visit was good and a female lady staff was helpful (I ate Amala and Egusi). So I decided to try repeat my visit a week later. I was concerned about a particularly rude female staff who missed the order I placed by phone. Upon reminding her about a key event of the call to place my order, was that she could not understand a local regional dialect, she displayed what I can describe as a silly arrogance.Poor attitude who does not understand that many people consider "kpanla" to be dried cod. Apparently, her version of kpanla happened to be a different fish entirely. I was glad a gentleman, the manager or owner perhaps, described the specific fish after he overhead my question to another customer about my confusion. The assorted meat selection contained a couple of cattle small intestines (or intestines of some other animal), beef skins and a tough fried piece of beef.An employee with a disregarding attitude does not help this business. Its a shame we deal with silly attitudes in the diaspora.

They are better than most African restaurants in Houston.
