When I have a client looking for a home in the Heights I request to meet them at this coffee shop for the initial meeting. They always have places to sit (Inside or out), the coffee and food are consistently good. One of the best perks is that they have coffee and some of the proceeds go to a human trafficking non-profit. It is a must try.

I had their signature croissant sandwich and it was delicious and their mochanut was yummy. My daughter ordered chicken panini with salad and chai latte. We bought some goodies too! They sell plants, terrariums and succulents in super adorable pots! We left with happy tummy and full heart. A great place to eat and shop for this wonderful nonprofit coffeeshop.

I love the concept and cause behind the coffee shop; to stop human trafficking! However, I wish they had just basic, iced vanilla latte’s and cortado’s, etc. The tacos are also so good!

Great place to study. It was nice and spacious, fairly quiet. There are 2 couches if you want to curl up with a book, and wasn’t very busy on a wed evening. The coffee was good but not amazing.

I went today for the first time and love its vibe! The coffee was great and the food delicious (small plates but tasty and fairly priced). They have an small market with gifts and super cute crafts. And on top of this all, with your purchases you collaborate with a noble cause. Recommended!

I think the theme of this coffee shop is so awesome and the message but the coffee itself was kinda not to my liking. I wouldn't go back for coffee if im being honest.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Houston. Coffee for a great cause, A 2nd Cup brings awareness on human tracking as well as hosts for a variety of events from farmers markets, yoga, and other awareness events. They have a merchandise section that supports artisans in high risk situations as well. Definitely one of my routine spots and highly recommend!

Nice place. Good coffee. I went there to work but found it too noisy for work calls however well set up for people to work if you don't need to be on the phone.

Great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries. Loved looking at the local crafts available for purchase while we waited for our drinks. Great atmosphere, really felt like I could settle in and make this place my own for a little while. Most importantly, I was happy to spend my money here because of the mission they support.

Very nice store and I love that they support a great cause. My 3 stars: came in and it was not busy, ordered a flat white with a croissant, paid $7 and some change, threw the change of $10 into the to jar.Few minutes later they call out my name, they give me my flat white, I hang by the counter for 5 minutes waiting for my croissant, never arrives, counter is abandoned by staff, which I understand as I'm the last customer to come in.Times up for me and I have to go back to work, just thought they would have thought something of someone's waiting at the counter.I know I could have said something but I don't feel like I should have to chase after something I ordered, the hint was me waiting at the counter for my croissant.$10 for a flat white.... At least it's a good cause.
