Well what can I say... so I took some advice to try the (BRISKET HAMBURGER) it was horrible now idk if it was the cooks fault or what. Because I don't run the kitchen but my hamburger I called it (Morton Salt Burger) so you can just imagine the taste. At 1st I thought maybe my taste buds. Then I asked my husband to try it. I didn't say a word when I took the bite so when I asked him how is it. I said spill it tell me he said super salty.. I even stopped the waitress and asked her ma'am are the burgers normally like this Salty she replied Yes very..? I was like ok what's the sence of complaining if they was to make me a new one it will be the same thing so I let it go. When it was brought to me it looked delish but once I took a bite out of it. I was like shook and just didn't even finish my burger I left more than half there. And was upset cuz earlier they ran out of brisket. So yea just poltry I'm like no don't want that. So my husband finished his turkey and we left. I still left hungry but like I said what was the use of complaining if it wasn't gonna be resolved. As I was leaving I told the waitress yall should taste before you sell it is awful then she tells me well next time tell them no seasoning. I'm like WHAAT! I had asked the other waitress and said they were already Salty didn't mention seasoning wth?? Oh well it was just a disaster don't ask for the Brisket Hamburger! Looks are deceiving plus the sad part it wasn't even 8pm and ran out of Brisket!
I've had some really good BBQ in different parts of this beautiful country of ours. This, unfortunately, is not one of those. I'll call it one off. I guess I ordered the wrong thing. Per the girl behind the counter, she recommended the pork rib. Well, if that's the best they offer, it's too bad. Flavor was OK but those little white pieces of bone in almost every bite are not my favorite. I should have ordered the brisket or beef rib. Now, the Racho beans and green beans were good. Very different than I have had. Nice spice and flavor. So, I guess if I'm back in this part of the world, I'll have to try again and maybe it will be the greatest show on earth. But this time, not so much. Sorry folks.
Food was outstanding!! By the time we got there, they only had brisket and jalapeño sausage left for the day so we all had brisket sandwiches. So yummy!!! Mac n cheese side was also great!
Came for the first time and we will return. Turkey, ribs, and brisket were so moist, the potato salad was so delicious. Atmosphere is inviting and you don't have to be so close, perfect distancing.
Very dry brisket ... At 6:30 pm they are almost out or completely out of most of their meats?! I ordered sausage and server forgot to put it in my bag. This place was once very good - no more, though, unfortunately.
Had lunch on 01-05-22 and got Moist Brisket (extremely dry), Jalapeno Sausage (average), potato salad (no flavor) and a Coke. I paid a total of $23.86, which I don't mind paying that or more if the food merits the price. The customer service could have DEFINITELY convinced me to rate it at least a 2 STAR. I Tried this place as a recommendation, but NOT PLANNING ON RETURNING.
American AC had our meeting here. It was an awesome experience. We're a large and lively crowd and were attended the way we treat our customers, in a way that makes one feel appreciated and wanting to come back. The food is mouth watering delicious, served in great big portions promptly, using fresh ingredients. Smiles from ear to ear from the heart warming staff. I'll be back real soon. From the folks down at American AC, we're so grateful for all the hard work that was put into making our experience so memorable. And all this was done in very short notice. Good BBQ. A bit tasty for my taste. The ancient was very cool. But we took it to go... Had our doggie and no outdoor dining.
The customer service is great. Breakfast tacos are amazing. A great place to hold our company meeting for the J Flores Company. They made sure we had what we needed while business was being done by the team. Again thanks to all the people from Smoke Texas BBQ.
BEST brisket ever! Nice and friendly employees. Never too busy, never too empty, and it's bigger on the inside so social distancing isn't a problem at all! Love this place.
