I had gone to the Weslaco location multiple times, and it was nothing but friendly employees and fast service. I was expecting to receive the same kind of service at the harlingen location, however… I was shocked at the disrespect I received from what appears to be a manger. This is how the situation had occurred. I walked in to look at the menu already knowing exactly what I wanted to order. I stood at the counter waiting to be greeted by an employee for about 5 minutes when it was clear that nobody was in a rush to take my order I tried to catch the attention of one of the female employees who seemed to be delegating the restaurant. She continued her conversation with another employee before she came to help me. I was very angry and ordered my food just assuming their conversation was important. I had ordered my plate of brisket to go and continued to go grab my soda from one of the machines. The area where the condiments are seemed to be in horrible condition. The counter was unclean and sticky! I watched as my food was being prepared as I thought it would only take at most 10 minutes. I waited as the girl who was bagging my order stopped and put everything down to to talk to the same girl again! I couldn’t help but overhear their conversation in which one of the girls was complaining about her job. In my opinion this was very unprofessional of them! They let my food sit and get cold even though it looked complete. I decided to stop at the restroom and I was shocked to see such an unclean facilitation. The restroom had toilet paper on the floor and one of the two restrooms was out of order. I came back hoping my food would be done yet there it still was sitting and waiting…continuing to get cold. I asked if my order was ready and with an angry tone the young girl said “it would be right out.” there I sat waiting more than 15 minutes already I decided just to cancel it and get a refund. The girl hastily put the cold food in a bag with what looked like pickles and said its right here. I told them just to refund my order and there I left Reynas hungry and only 10 minutes left of my break. Horrible service and will not be going again. This was I believe to be Memorial Day week and the girls I learned to be both managers were the same way when my husband went to get food for me later in the night…chatty as usual.
My wife and I were passing through Harlingen and saw this billboard displaying this huge BBQ sandwich. The name on the billboard was Reyna's.We're from California and new to the RGV. I'm not going to pass up a chance to try some BBQ. I tried a sandwich called the "Trinity."Beef brisket, pulled pork, jalapeno sausage and Mac and cheese. My wife had the brisket plate with two sides.Of course I had to order some BBQ wings and peach cobbler to go. The portions were good and the price was very reasonable.The food was good. I would definitely take friends and family to this place. Thank you for a great meal.
We pulled into the parking lot to Google another location but instead we said "hey what's this place"? None of us had ever been there nor heard of this establishment. We walk in, look around, everything is very organized and clean. Next we proceed to the counter and look over their selection. Well I'm totally satisfied with what l ordered and the 3 others l was with did too. Whenever I'm in Harlingen I'm definitely dining in again!!!!
We recently had a graduation party at Reyna’s BBQ In Harlingen, Tx. The restaurant manager Abel and his staff did a great job, they were very attentive and made sure the condiment station was clean. The BBQ was great and delivered to our guests table in a timely manner. Thank you again Abel, you and your crew did a outstanding job! Roberts Family
Great food! Place was crazy busy during Mother's Day but all the employees did a great job to accommodate us. the cheese and jalapeño sausage is a must try. I will definitely be back. Thanks! ???
I love the BBQ here and it's always great service. My reason for 4 star is that they don't always have everything on the menu and we have to go elsewhere at times. Also give the food a 4 as well but overall it's a great place if you're hungry and the food will not let you down.
We came here for the first time tonight and the food was amazing! We had ribs, moist brisket, jalapeño sausage, charro beans and potato salad for a very reasonable price. Service was great as well. We will definitely be making a trip here from Brownsville when we want amazing bbq.
First time here so wasn’t sure how to order but the lady taking our order was very helpful and had excellent customer service she got us exactly what we wanted; food came out very quickly and satisfied our BBQ craving!
Extremely clean environment, friendly staff, and great food.... even right before they closed.... will definitely be back for more.
AWESOME meats…u want pork, turkey, brisket, chicken? they have it all, and it’s some of the best BBQ flavor you’ll find, only thing keeping it from 5 stars? the continued “out of stock” baby back ribs! these baby back ribs, in my opinion, are the best thing on their menu! which is frustrating because the only place you’ll find them is on the menu! try and order them and you’ll get the common “sorry we are out of those” excuse going on months now, maybe if they removed them fromthe menu it would get easier to forget them…Hey but aside from this it’s THE PLACE TO GET great BBQ!
