If I could rate the place 0 stars I would. I've had instances of incorrect orders which I can understand happens but today took the cake. I placed an order for tenders and used a coupon, I was charged and went home. I signed onto my bank and saw I was charged 19.46 which is a lot more than the 8.99 I was going to pay for my one order. I called and the manager told me "Oh that happens a lot just wait because it'll clear." SHe failed to understand that what happened was I was charged 8.99 twice on the same order. She said she could give me a credit for 6 dollars towards my next order which is way less than what I paid. I let her know that I just wanted my money back. She said I would have to come in since she couldn't do card transactions over the phone. I drove back, and she repeatedly asked me if I only received one order. This was even after I explained this over the phone. She didn't even refund me on my card and proceeded to give me cash.The chicken itself wasn't even good. Most of my order was dry, the fries were cold, I was given the wrong sauce. Never coming back here again and I hope others see this and think twice of going here.
Harlingen texasYesterday at 6:53pm went after work to get couple of meals which I wanted all legs and was told my manager that they couldn't give me all legs because it was against the company rules! I never heard of such ignorant answer...I know that by experience you give the customer what the customer wants...you just lost a customer for some pieces of chicken.. at the beginning this restaurant was awesome when they first open ...now they just don't care for the customers at all!
Ordered a 8Pc tender chicken at 9:40 pm and the food I got was definitely old, there goes 14.99 for old food and Ive eat there some times in the daytime guess they didn’t want to cook since they closed in 20 mins sucks to be me . Also they forgot my sauce . I hate wasting money :(Don’t go to this place after 9 pm everyone you will be disappointed.
Everything is always made fresh the food is amazing.. Love the sandwich, cajun fries & omg those red beans and rice are the bomb very good 100% recommended ? ? ?
Not only were my portions of the fries cold but we had to go back because they forgot our sauces. Then once we opened my boyfriends food we saw they gave us broken up fish (looked like it had been stepped on) with no sides or bread. We called the resturant and they blamed it on "being understaffed". We're in the food industry as well and even tho we're understaffed too, we still make sure the food comes out right and hot. Never coming back.
Staff is a challenge everywhere right now so please. e patient. Limited on side options. Food was still decent quality as Popeye's Chicken provides.
This location has its doors closed for months! Now a sign that says maintenance? Idk if they want anyone in there just because or because of the management here only. It's ridiculous experience there is only 1 Popeyes here in Harlingen. All the doors or Church's open except the only Popeyes? Cmon. Also the order area sign is not even showing full menu. Very tacky.
The dining room wasn't open..The cashier only spoke Spanish with a little English..She messed up my order but not that bad.. somebody with fluent English and Spanish should be up there taking orders other than that the food was great..
Loved loved the food and the service. The food and service was totally great. Customer service was great from the start till my food was handed to me. Chicken strips and Mac n cheese ? were delicious. I love Popeyes. Best chicken ever!!
My family and I (family of 4) decided to stop by for dinner just about 2 mins ago at the Dixieland Road location in Harlingen. As soon as we walked in they said they are only taking to go orders due to being understaffed. We said ok that's fine. Then they proceeded to say that they are only taking small orders. I was confused. Was I supposed to order for myself? Or for 2 of us? Mind you that the dinning area was completely vacant. Not a single person was inside and the drive thru had 1 car ordering at the window. I turned around and walked out with my family and one of the employees was sarcastic and said HAVE A NICE DAY MA'AM! What in the world?! This is unacceptable.
