Food has no taste and need some improvement, The atmosphere has not changed after not going there for about six months I allowed myself to go there again I will never go back. There’s articles on the wall that it was the best restaurant that was many years ago. I will not Go back
Chips and salsa we’re great Charro beans were great margaritas were very good we were disappointed with the fajitas. The fajitas didn’t have any onions peppers or sauce they were just basically a cut up dried chicken breast with a little bit of guacamole. The atmosphere was not romantic very bright but clean and family friendly. The service was great and everybody there was a very very nice. The tacos and items like tacos and more fresh items looked really good and it was really fresh tasting
Loved that the waitstaff were on it for all of the customers. We both ordered enchiladas. One was blanco, and the other was verdes. Both were yummy. We enjoyed this place as it was easy to get in and out quickly for lunch.
This place was recommended. Atmosphere was tasteless. The tables were too tall or the chairs were too short. Not comfortable at all. No appeal. Food was average. The service was excellent. Would I go back? No maybe take out next time.
Been one of my favorites for over 15 years. Just went today and had great service and great food. Mexican plate was delicious!!
The beans were good to a point where there was a white fiber embedded in the beans. The server came over and analyzed and say oh yes this is from the bean bag tie. He took the beans away and stated if I wanted another bowl of beans. Made no mention of apologies or what can we do to fix this problem. The service was very slow had to ask for plates over four times before we got them. Not happy or will return.
Great family restaurant. Plates are fully served and taste is authentic mexican. My husband ordered the bistec ranchero plate and it was really full that my husband could not finish the entire plate. I ordered the jalapeño soup which is basically shredded chicken soup with melted white cheese but with onions jalapeno peppers cilantro and sour cream on the side. Very delicious and filling. The plate is a small soup plate but it has alot of chicken. Good comfort food. Furthermore I asked the waiter if they had a pirata taco which they didn't but he offered to have the cooks made one for me. Now that is great customer service.!!!!! I loved this place because they care very much for their customers.
We love Pepe's! The service is top notch every time you go! The food is always delicious! Always enjoy the botana or jalapeño soup!
I can not say ANYTHING negative. The BEST Mexican food in town. Service is quick and outstanding. There truly is no better place to eat in town.
Good restaurant solid prices but Fajitas not the best I have had in Harlingen. If you are looking for an affordable fajitas stop this could be it very reasonable priced.
