Worst experience ever, the place smelled like dirty restrooms right when you walk in. The older lady had an attitude and was rude. I paid $22 dollars for 3 small ice creams and poor service. I’ll make the drive to cold stone next time.
For what we paid I got the worst service ever today by Mia. Very annoyed when we asked basic questions. Will NEVER be back.
Visited to get ice cream with mixed in toppings of our choice only to be advised since it was 20 minutes to closing that couldn't be done?! Ridiculous. Service there has really declined since the pandemic. Disappointing Can't wait for ColdStone to open up!
Please update hours. We came at 8:40, for something that takes two minutes to make. The lady who was there along with four customers inside immediately said “we’re closed” before we could even set foot inside. Hours on google said they close at 9.
Hello... Customer service is huge. One lady was walking out as her shift ended. There was another young lady working and she was putting sprinkles on this other customers ice cream and she had here head side ways lowly speaking saying " i'm so tired." Just her lack of eagerness to serve her customers not to mention that she was walking as if she was dragging her legs. I am pretty patient but honestly some times I don't have to deal with certain things. I love this Marble Slab and I am excited about the opening store in San Benito. I will def. try that one instead. I didn't get ice-cream. I just left.
So much has changed… walking in, I had to exit for the employee to even come out of the back room for about 8 minutes. After the wait, I was given the option of choosing from 6 (only six) flavors they had. I ask for a sample and employee point at a sign and asks me if I’ve read it or not. Needless to say… the brown butter pecan and The Picard flavors were AMAZING at SCHOOLHOUSE CREAMERY. Marble slab has lost my buisness. Visit SchoolHouse Creamery on 77 Sinshine strip. They have amazing unique flavors that are ALL made in house.
I used to take my daughters here when they were younger. I’m not sure what happened, but this place looks so sad, depressing & dark to the point that it looks close. The only lady working there seemed very annoyed that we were even there, she slammed everything didn’t even greet us when we walked in. My daughter got a specific ice cream bowl and didn’t even add the toppings like she was supposed to and charged me as if it did. And everything else I got was melting. Never coming back here, not worth the price and service.
Friendly service and great ice cream. Some of the critics are mistaken and most likely impatient individuals. Always a local treat!
marble slab is usually my go to ice cream shop, i walked in and noticed a new employee Mia who seemed to be under the influence of some kind of drug. completely butchered both my friends and my ice cream.
This place opens for bussiness @ 12 pm. Yet the slab takes 1 hour to 2 hours to get cold.. Asked owner why don't you have your staff come in at 11am instead, she said, "its hard times" You only have One employee working.. The place is called Marble Slab. People go for the Slab experience. Waste of time and very Irresponsible. all to save 8 dollars an hour.
