Place was nearly empty when we arrived on a Sunday night. We were seated right away and our waitress took our drink orders. We looked over the menu and had our selections but the waitress didn't return for 15 minutes. She was nice and seemed to be handling the entire restaurant herself so I don't fault her.What I do fault is the kitchen for serving us 2 salads, one with hair and another with a fly. The appetizer chips we received were undercooked and had oil on them. The steaks were cold and a sides were missing. Once we had the problem rectified we weren't hungry.Will not return. You're better off going to Texas roadhouse.
Love this place I definitely coming backI just wish they can offer 2 sides stead of 1Besides that super recommended and servers are very nice
Tired of the routine and decided to try a different steakhouse. Love this place, sirloin and porter house steaks are delicious. The complimentary wheat bread with butter is different and so good! I am on my way again to this place as I type this.
A chilly Sunday afternoon and a good steak dinner sound great, unless you got the 6oz sirloin that I got. Unfortunately it was so tough and chewy, that no matter how small I cut it, it was a chore to chew it. It tasted like leather. Fortunately, I had an awesome waitress who gladly brought me a delicious, tender sirloin in exchange. I was so grateful. What makes one sirloin tough as leather and another more paletable? I am not sure...maybe lack of proper aging or being flame kissed...I'm not sure. Having understanding staff makes all the difference too!
Went to celebrate with my fiancee and my Son , I think it was his first real steak ?? but the atmosphere was mellow and chill , we got attended quickly , our waitress (wish I remembered her name ) was perfect checked on us and took care of our needs without interrupting us ( which is rare ) the steaks were cooked just right and the price was spot on. Thank you Long Horn team for a great experience
There's nothing wrong with the food. Everything tasted terrific. However, the prices are higher than the average Harlingen eatery. Also, the service was slightly slow. Also, I ordered an extra side dish which I believe I paid for, but didn't realize until I was almost home that it was never served. I was probably too filled with the tasty ribs to notice.
Great food. Great service. But I did get a salad in a dirty plate. But the server gave me another one quite promptly
Went there for dinner. Was seated pretty fast. Then sat there for 30 minutes without anyone coming to get out drinks order or anything. There was at least 6 waiters and waitresses working on the floo. They came by a table next to us and didn't t even look at us. Sat there for a few more minutes then left.
One of my favorite spots to have a good tasty steak. I like the fact that it has variety not just one or two types of steaks.
Only gets 2 stars because the bread was good.. My steak was rare despite me ordering well-done. I guess they don't use food thermometers because it was very bloody and red inside.. Broccoli tasted bad and 2 of my baked potatoes were under done. Will definitely not return any time soon. Will stick to my usual steakhouse because had the same problem with under done steak last time except I currently can't eat under cooked meat.
