If I could give it anything lower than one star I would. For a family of 5 we paid $100 with tip included. The food is just disgusting. The meat is rubbery and there is too much soy sauce. The sushi is all just rice and cream cheese there's no variety to it. The pizza is cold and the mozzarella cheese sticks isn't even melted. Please just go somewhere else. Their restrooms are disgusting, dirty, smelly, and they have mops and vacuums there in the stall. The floor is sticky and while the customer service is fine, it's just overall a horrible place. Please don't go eat here, especially if you're a family trying to eat out. It's not worth it.
A wild rip off for the food they serve.. $60 bucks for a party of 4, and there was hardly anything worthwhile on the buffet. Basically just going through the motions at this point. Quality is low. Server staff slow.. it's a $5 buffet at best.. sad because 20 years ago this place was pretty good. Now you pay for the pleasure of being disappointed. :-(
Good variety if food. Steam tables needed to be warmer. Food not kept warm enough. Yummy sushi
So let me preface by saying I don't go to buffets usually. But my dad loves them so I agreed begrudgingly to go here. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of items including seafood and soups. Alot more vegitable options than most places. Lots of desserts including ice cream and homemade pastries. My favoraite was the crab Rangoon and the opaque jello. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. No Suprised the local news has endorsed this place many times.
The worst ever, food is old, meat is hard. Several of us got sick from eating here today (day before Easter 2022). Never going back, I never do reviews but I have to do other people can save themselves. Plus it was 4 adults and 2 kids and supposedly requirement for us all to tip at a certain percentage. All in all it was about $120 down the drain.
Food was bland really not worth the money at all... I will definitely take my time to drive to a different buffetWay over priced for the food quality
We used to love this place but it has gone downhill. Soda tasted old, so we got a sweet tea and found a dead cockaroach floating around. We had just started eating and had to leave because of how grossed out we were. When we told the lady in the front about the cockaroach and us not finishing our food she said okay, I'll take off a drink and its probably because they just fumigated and the cockaroaches probably went into the ice machine or the tea container. Food doesn't look fresh anymore especially the fried foods and we also found a hair in the teriyaki chicken. I know times are hard but there's no reason to slack off on sanitation or quality.
So I was going to leave this on Facebook but looks like after several bad reviews the Restaurant made it so no one can leave reviews there.So my lil sister and I went yesterday to the sunshine location in harlingen. Was greeted, server came right behind us as we were seated seemed ok. Getting to the food. I have a allergy to shell fish. Normally when going to a buffet seafood is off to one area. But not here, no organization at all so I had to take my chance of cross contamination of the foods. Eating I realized all the food was at room temperature. Not even warm... which made it not taste right. Even the sweet and sour chicken was not cooked right. It was clear it was thrown in the fryer stuck together and in able to fall apart since breading was missing and around there it was clearly not "cooked" all the way. The only thing being switched out and coming out the kitchen fresh was shrimp and crab. Hardley ate anything. Got up went to the front to pay since the server never came around. The girl taking the payment asked if everything was good I said honestly no the food was cold do y'all check the temperature of the food when it's sitting there. She looked at me confused and said Si as if she was guessing what I wanted to hear than I asked well why is it not even warm or how often is it checked she said I know they are supposed to check it but no se, like she didn't even care. Why ask me if it was good and not care! She just rang up the total and that alone wasn't worth the price so I asked why it was so much I mentioned we hardly ate and again she just looked at me with a idc face never talked to the manager who was doing nothing but walking around. Didn't discount the ticket for the poor food and didn't even apologize for the poor food. Needless to say I'm never going here again and if this is how other great china's are ran you won't see me in them anymore. If the manager sees this I hope somethings done about it. No reason the food shouldn't keep tempo that's a health risk!
