If I could I would give zero stars, the food was horrible, cold, and bland and the chicken strips were more like nuggets. My salad had a fly in it and the waitress just says, "oh we have gnats" no apologies just says I'll bring you another and make sure there's no gnats this time wasn't a gnat it was a fly, I refused. She mentioned it's slow and I've had alot of caffeine and yet isn't very attentive, we got one refill the entire time we were there and she went to get us straws but never returned, also she forgot to bring my side I practically ate all my food before she came around again and just says oh you didn't get it, well no aren't you the waitress that brought out the food but never made sure we didn't need anything else? At the end we were already paying she did come back to say to do the survey because they have a contest going on and she needed good reviews. Never going back to Harlingen cheddars worse experience.
The food is super delicious!! Had the coconut shrimp with ribs and omg!!! It was too good!! ❤️❤️ The staff actually cares about your experience and are always on top of everything. This is actually my favorite restaurant and I totally recommend it to anyone who's looking for great food, great drinks, great service, and a great atmosphere right when you walk in.
We waited about 20 minutes before we were escorted to our table. When we got there, the table wasn't ready, so we walked back and our seats were taken, so we stood while another table became available.The service was mediocre. No Dr. Pepper, no Dos XX, asked for ranch with the house salad and didn't get it until we asked another server for it since ours was on his phone. ??♀️I ordered tilapia with shrimp and it was okay. My son had the ribs and chicken tenders, and he seemed to enjoy his meal.Overall, I wasn't impressed by this location, but I may come back and try something else.
Good experience. Food and drinks were good as always. Ate at the bar to avoid waiting for a table. Love the pain killer! Ordered to go as well, and that came out pretty quick. Be there again soon.
We have never had any issues at Cheddar's until now. Cheddar's has one of the best steaks around for the price. We were celebrating a party and and my order and another guest in our party didn't receive our meals. The waiter blamed the kitchen and offered a appetizer on the house for the mistake. The waiter brought out our meals and my order was completely wrong. The waiter said that he had written it down to justify his mistake. I was very disappointed to say the least. I didn't have to pay for my meal but, I did not get to celebrate eating my meal with family and had to take to go.
Had to edit my experience here at this cheddar's waited 11 minutes to be seated with hardly any people inside restaurant. Second our waiter didn't take our drink order until 8 minutes after seated ordered a tea it was super dark and tasted old orderd a coke same ugly taste my only opinion on this is that ice machine is dirty and moldy. Also young k waitress were rude and seem like they don't want to be there working. Over all customer service and food is not like before hopefully you guys can fix this.
From the moment we walked in we were treated with respect and was smiles from every staff member we saw or dealt with. The food was very good...love the croissants with honey butter. The margaritas looked fantastic even though I didn't have one. I had a great hamburger and the most delicious potato soup I've had since my mother's. The prices were extremely reasonable and again the staff was fantastic. Hopefully you are paying them a good decent wage and benefits and if not DO IT. Thank you.
Food was great, service was ok at best. Was a little slow, and I get, the staff wants to take advantage and chill. Just please check up on guests after food is dropped off. We got our food, and we didn't see our sever until we were ready to leave. Drinks were empty for a while, but at least the server got us some to go drinks.
Love the food here. Been 3x now and will be back as have not tried everything I wanted to. excellent staff very polite and knowledgeable of the menu items
Nice place, large portions, staff was friendly and helpful. We had the ribs which I would consider ok. All things considered I would definitely go back but would try some of the other items that looked pretty tasty.
