A beautiful shop with kind humans who know their coffees. Solid 3rd wave specialty coffee shop. The espresso was delicious, the iced latte was so tasty, and had a chick pee and curry empanada that was phenomenal!
Professional service. We had two rounds of specialty coffees and teas. Delicious! Environment was welcoming and relaxing.
Absolutely wonderful coffee shop and a must see! I make sure to stop here every time I visit the Valley. The coffee is thoughtfully sourced, expertly prepared and the shop is very nice inside. They have created a “Coldbrew Shandy” that consists of coldbrew, grapefruit juice and Topo. I was curious when I ordered it and was not disappointed. It was delightful. Staff is always friendly and I can’t wait to come back.
First time customer and first time five star review. The cappuccino was excellent. I'm used to having it with sugar, but this one was beautiful without. The barista looked like he really enjoyed his art. I will be back
Starbucks is never our first choice for specialty coffee. There are SO MANY amazing LOCAL places that are just so much better in quality and over all experience. Sure Starbucks is Instagramable but so are these guys! Shout out to Bandera Coffee for these amazing drinks. And the latte art… ??? you don’t find that at Starbucks. Just sugary, overpriced cups of stale coffee. When in Harlingen don’t forget to check them out. #supportlocal #shopsmall #starbucksisoverratted
The coffee was delicious and great options, went with pour over and Columbian. The chicpea with chimichurri dipping was also quite good. Cool spot and will be trying another cup tomorrow!
First of all I hate to leave bad reviews but i went to this place to get an ice tea and I saw that they had seasonal special tea. So I ordered and paid almost $6 for 9oz cup ice tea and half cup was foam. It even didn't taste good. if you want to charge $6 for tea at least it should taste good. I will give them one more try and if they do better next time, I will leave 5 star.Sorry :(
My husband and I decided to try this place out on a whim. We had lots of questions about the menu, and the staff patiently took the time to answer all of them. I ended up getting a simple iced vanilla latte, which was very good. My husband got the Goth Latte, and it was amazing! Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is neat. Definitely has an Austin-ish vibe. Support small business and check them out yourself!
This review is long overdue, throughout the years of coming to Bandera, I have been extremely welcomed, and absolutely blown away with the Bandera experience. Bandera feels like an oasis in the midst of the lower valley. The owners Ashley and Thomas have have made their mark on the RGV. They have poured their creativity and their hearts into this shop. Bandera truly holds high standards for their coffee program, and it shows with every drink I've had the pleasure of ordering. I think the valley is very fortunate to have something as special as this place. <3
The baristas were so kind. I came with my mom and great aunt and they were so friendly and helpful. We loved our tea and coffees. The cookies were delicious too! Thank you guys for a great experience!
