The AC seemed to be broken. Food was fine, though my wife and I each got pad Thai and ours didn't taste the same. I would rate the food a three or four, however I am giving an overall rating of 2 because of the cockroach crawling on the wall next to us. I had to kill it because it was getting too close to our table. I'm not sure what was worse... The roach being there or the waiter seeing us watch it and not killing it himself or apologizing for it.

The food from this little dive, was amazing! Bold flavors and very fresh. I had the Thai Green Curry and my partner had the pineapple fried rice. The curry was some of the best that I’ve ever had and the fried rice was delicious. By the way, the spice levels on the curry was awesome. If you like the heat, go with level 7!This is authentic Thai food and I loved seeing all of the ladies in the kitchen working away, making everything from scratch. The service was friendly and fast as well. We definitely will be back!

My family had eaten here numerous times and always enjoy it. The restaurant went thru different owners but the food consistency remain somewhat the same. Now it seems things have changed. I placed an order for papaya salad and tom kha among other things. I was beyond disappointed when I got home. The price went up while the portion got smaller. I don't mind paying for good food but it's outrageous when the portion is small. The papaya salad was barely a handful as seen in the picture but charging a whopping $10. The picture actually makes it seem more but it's a small small small portion. The soup was barely over half of the container. We will not be eating here again. This place is a disappointment. The quality and quantity of food have diminished.Don't waste your time here. You will only be disappointed. There are plenty of better restaurants that gives better quality and quantity of food.

First time ever trying pad thai in my life, and the flavors in my dish were amazing! I chose a medium-spicy level, and it worked perfectly with the sweetness in the sauce. The chicken which was tender & cooked very well. Overall GREAT experience! Also need to shout-out our server Christina who came through with 5-star customer-service! Definitely recommend!

What a hidden gem! Clean environment, great tasting food, very diverse menu with so many great entrees cooked to perfection, courteous and helpful staff, good parking, timely service, and clean rest rooms. Accommodates a limited number, if dining in; but has a thriving pickup counter. And….reasonably priced food. Love, love, love Thai Pakse.

The good: good service, very friendly and nice staff, good hot chillies; fresh chopped for extra hot dish. Fresh basil! The bad: ribs appetizer only tastes very salty with no other real flavor even though it came with lots of garlic, must have scorched or overcooked the garlic.Red curry was unbalanced and was over salty as well. Lacking the creaminess from coconut milk, the sweetness from sugar, and not enough red curry paste.Massaman curry had a grainyconsistency that was a little off-putting although the flavor was good. Conclusion: seems like a place with lots of potential, maybe complacency has gotten to the cook because the ingredients are mostly good but the preparation and flavor and balance was missing. It does not taste like anyone is tasting the food going out to adjust before it is served.

This place use to be great. I’m not sure what changed, but it is dramatically worse. I spent $13 for a few pieces of meat on iceberg lettuce. We left still hungry and went to another restaurant. Sad, I use to love this place but won’t be returning anymore.

My husband and our son went to go have dinner there last Friday, and he ordered a soup. When the vegetables arrived there was spit on them and there was also a cockroach. When my husband received his soup there was a big cockroach floating in his soup it was so disgusting to see. We told the waiter and he brought another soup by the soup was just not the same the seafood tasted old, and when we got up to pay they still charged us for the soup did not even bother to say we're sorry for the cockroach in the soup you don't have to pay for it. YEAH RIGHT WE STILL HAD TO PAY FOR FOOD THAT COCKROACHES. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN AND IF YOU ALL GO THERE PLEASE INSPECT YOUR PLATES.

Pad Thai was moist, and very tasty Loved it! The flavor was unique, with almost an acidic vinegar flavor! Really excellent. Pho was also excellent! One of the best we’ve had, with super tasty broth and plenty of meat ball. This might be one of the best little family restaurants we have been to. A née favorite for sure!

Ordered Pad Kee Maw with tofu, Lard Na with beef and Thai Tea here for to go. Thai Tea hit the spot as it was delicious and refreshing on a hot Texas summer day. Pad Kee Maw was really good, noodles were perfectly cooked and not too oily. Lard Na was okay. Normally I got the lard na order come with fried noodles and then the gravy has the meat and veggies in it. The noodles here was fried with the veggies and meat and the gravy (just gravy) came on the side. Would definitely come back to get more Pad Kee Maw and to try the other dishes as well as the Thai Tea!!!
