We were very disappointed that the chef did not possess the skill to make fried rice without adding egg. As simple as it is to make fried rice without egg at home, one would think that an individual skilled to serve the public would have the skill to do this simple request.
Do not ask questions about the menu. The staff is very petty. I was asking what came in a drink because I didn’t know what it was called and instead of telling just gave me the name of the drink. I had asked for a Thai tea with jelly, and the brought me the wrong drink and got very defensive when I asked if it was a Thai tea like I ordered and then proceeded to gaslight me say didn’t order a Thai tea and order whatever she brought me. The waitress was obviously mad when she realized she messed up and when she corrected my drink she purposely put it in a defective cup. Normally the staff there isn’t bad it’s more mediocre they only stop by the table to take your order and bring food and that’s about it. Maybe she was having a bad day but the restaurant wasn’t that busy to begin with. The food is good but if you have any allergies I suggest bringing your epi pen. Not the best with following allergies will pick it off then re-severe it. Other than that the food is pretty good.
I’ve been enjoying My Lan for about 25 years. Their food is always delicious, their service is always quick and polite, and the restaurant is always spotless. I especially love the egg rolls and the grilled pork vermicelli, but their pho is on point as well.
Disappointed,The calamari was to tough could not chew it.The egg rolls were average at bestand small! Not the best and small size.Ordered the combo shrimp "3", pork "dry", calamari "tough", scallops "small tough" what "small beef pieces" with flat noodles they gave me fried style noodles? If you are going to charge higher prices you better give quality and quantity! Will not be back.
My Lan is by far the best Pho/spring roll in the metroplex. Great food, great quality and great prices. I moved from the area and still go to My Lan. The owners are great and always remember me. My daughter and son in law drive from weatherford for this deliciousness!!!
I like the food but I just wish they would rearrange there middle section cause you might have to sit with other people and share the condiments which sucks you know considering what's going on right now its hard to be around others, other than that it's a nice little place that can use a wipe down every now n then n love the fresh lemonade they serve.
They were quick getting my order ready. That’s the only positive.I ordered the combination fried rice. It had 3 shrimp, little tiny bits of pork and beef. Didn’t find any chicken. Had a few peas and carrots. Barely any flavor, I had to pour tons of soy sauce to add some flavor but that only goes so far.The menu they have online said $8.50 but I guess with tax I ended up paying $11.37 for a big tub of flavorless fried rice.
Tried the chicken pho, it was good! The broth is more greasy than we prefer. Maybe I’ll try other dishes next time.
Customer service and the food quality is down. Definitely not the same place, will not be returning.
Always go here for their eggrolls!!! By far, the best in dfw that we've found. It is the type of eggrolls you get back in vn as you can see in the pics. We also got the crispy egg noodle delicious as well. My kids got their phở and they liked it. Sometimes we drive 30 mins just to eat the eggrolls.
