I suppose that Griff's is a sort of local institution around here. They went through a major remodel a few years back, and the building is nice, but basic. The burger and fries were the same. Nothing spectacular. Honestly, I was hoping for more. I will say that I was glad to be able to eat the burger without a mess, like other places. I'm glad I tried it though, and it was not expensive.
I dropped by for a quick burger. I was in town for business. Very Good burger and fries at a fair price. They were quick! Place is clean. Great ice tea! Friendly, helpful staff. No frills.
I thought Griff's was closed years ago! I drove toward downtown today and saw it. I had to stop! It was only ok. My fries were cold and the burger was a bit overcooked and hard on the edges. The staff was kind and gracious. I love the nostalgia of this place but was disappointed in the food this time. This place used to have crazy good burgers!! I'm going to try it again because maybe they were just having an "off" day.

Really great burgers. Hot links was on the menu, I tried one. Wow! The spiciest most uniquely served hot link Ive ever had. Will definitely go back to get another one. Delicious!
Good burger and fries. However, the burger was clearly slapped together. One of the patties was hanging half way out which caused half the cheese to be melted to the wrapper. Disappointing but good
Griff's is great! The location on Lancaster is closed so I went to the one in Haltom city. It's just as delicious as the other one. The line in the drive thru was going into the street, so that should tell you how good they are!

Excellent, old-school burger joint.I've been a fan of Griff's for decades. They provide reliable, yummy, made-to-order fast food.Cheeseburgers are my favorite, with a side of appropriately greasy French fries, plus a Dr Pepper to wash it down.Service is fast, efficient, and friendly.A recent remodel of this location (overdue, to be honest) has created an appealing place to savor the meal.See you there!
????? I had to be reallllllll sarcastic with the drive-thru cashier Julietta. She just didn't get it. Poor customer service and a great hamburger ? = horrible experience. Stop treating others like a number and just request to go home! This type of service can't be left alone. Can someone PLEASE retrain her? For future customer's sake... ??
