I have been passing Soulman's for close to twenty years (not this location, as it's pretty new) and due to time limitations, never had the opportunity to try it out. The whole family loved it. The food was awesome as were the entire staff.
I loved the pulled pork a bit better than their brisket, that one was a little dry. I understand portion control was introduced by using tiny cups after COVID but employees are not consistent with it. I purchased the pulled pork sandwich for my kids, while I got the two meat plate for about 8 dollars more expecting a bigger plate but not the case. They were able to eat there and make another sandwich at home. While I was easily able to put my brisket and pork an the one slice of toast I got. My sides were in tiny cups while the sandwiches were showered in mounds of fries. Well, Good for the kids! I advice you get the sandwich instead, lol
Visited the Greenville Texas location although I live Sulphur Springs. Not too busy in the middle of the afternoon. Came for the Hot Links and Buttermilk Pie. Great as always. 7/6/2022 Visited. Thought meat portion smaller than in the past. Not provided Texas Toast. I went back ask but they had none prepared. Said would make more...take 3 minutes. Never got the Toast. Kinda missed that. Also, the TVs in the seating are are gone. I don't go to Soulmans to watch sports but it was a nice touch. Overall, service has gone down and food portion was smaller.
Good food for all. Got the rib plate and it was so good! The selection of sides for your meal is great! They do not disappoint. If you leave hungry it's your fault. Lol Come check them out!
Coming through from McKinney and was craving bbq. Greeted immediately as I walked in and everyone was super nice. Food was pretty good too! Will gladly return!
Awesome food. We are otr drivers. Been to a few of the locations and must say . The people that work here are top notch. Not a bad experience yet.Great job hiring.Food is always great.
Absolutely great service! The woman with the leopard print tattoos and the guy that's been there for 2 months were having a laugh with me and I had an awesome time! The portions were HUGE and the food tasted great!! Came from out of town and will be sure to come back again! Thank you folks! :)
Ordered at drive thru. Greeted promptly welcome to soulmans we are out of baked potatoes and fish. Ordered meal w sweet tea, informed all tea had been dumped. No tea. There were several diners inside restaurant I guess they were out of luck on drink refills.
Ribs were not very good. Under cooked. Also sad we haven’t seen the ice cream machine come back. ?
The staff is nice & friendly. But, the food portions are VERY SMALL. The okra & tots were over cooked & the fried cabbage tasted ok. I've had better...
