Side dishes were not that great. I could not eat the sliced beef it had too much fat

Thrilled we found this little place! Walk up and order style. Sandwiches, Plates, and Meat by the lb. The Links and boudin are some of the best ever! Highly recommend! Ended up getting extra links to go!

First time in and had a sliced sandwich and bought 2 dozen hot links to take home.Awesome food!Slaw and tater salad spot on.To the city folks reviewing here - hot links and sausage are greasy. Get over it.Chopped beef is generally greasy as well. Ask them to drain it or simply get sliced beef - it's what you want anyway - stop being a cheapskate.BBQ is best when fresh - go when they expect lots of people instead the middle of the afternoon - your experience will be better. This goes for any authentic BBQ restaurant.This place is awesome.We will be back!
The weather was warm for late December, sun was shining, and windy. It felt good to be out and away from my routine.I had been in Cumby Texas looking at land to buy, and on my way back I passed East of Dallas in this small town of Greenville, Texas. I decided to stop for lunch at a steak house called Macs, but they were closed, and that was a good thing because it meant that I would find this jewel of a BBQ restaurant. I am from Texas and know good BBQ when I get it in addition to that I am very picky. So many places over cook their brisket but the brisket here was tender, juicy, and the flavors were perfect. Sausage tasted of good quality and with the sauce went well with the potato salad.I would recommend to anyone to stop here and eat.
