I have eaten and cooked a lot of BBQ, I can park my 18 wheeler truck in the back. And when I say All the food is great, that's what I mean. They cook it better than I can. The fryed pies are Phenomenal, they even have a brisket fry pie. Wow ? Take time to eat here, Oh I almost forgot they have soft cream ice cream ?
It's June 2022, and while beef prices are skyrocketing in grocery stores, this restaurant's prices seemed as though they were the same since 2 years ago. Their jalapeño sausages and brisket are the best. Ribs were a little small this time around, but you're paying per pound so not a big deal...just order more. Staff are very friendly and courteous...which is getting harder to find elsewhere these days. Always a great experience picking up my order here. Dinning room is immaculate. Highly recommend.
Found this bbq spot next to the truck stop. Service was very good ? food was delicious. I had the ribs and they was amazing, also the potatoes salad and i had 2 tacos, that was also amazing. Mac and cheese taste store bought,but everything else was on point.
The BEST chopped brisket anywhere I've been around the country as a truck driver! They have a sliced or scalloped potato side dish that has tons of cheddar in it along with a slight vinegar flavor to it that makes my mouth water just writing about it!The fried pies are amazing too!
This is absolutely some of the best BBQ I've ever had! My family and I have been in heaven eating this food. I cannot say enough about the fried pie as well. Please folks taste this for yourself. Let's start with these fried pies! I got 3 meat pies. Pork sloppy Joe and brisket. Pork was dry the brisket was dry although the sloppy joe was a little messy it was very delicious and flavorful!! Pies are a little high priced but whatever also they make them fresh to order. Now this banana pudding was a 5/10. The flavor was good it was just missing more cookie I prefer pound cake pieces In it. I also got the loaded fries with pork. It was just pure plain. I took one bite and tossed it. Needs way more then just meat and cheese. The staff was very yung and very friendly. Don't trust my word. Definitely stop in and give it a shot. I will not be returning to this establishment.
I really enjoyed the food I had here plus they have some semi parking. For lunch I had pulled pork and chicken breast with pasta salad and spicy pinto beans. It was filling and delicious. I had left overs that I ate a little later for a snack. Then for dinner I had a taco plate with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. I felt stuffed after. They have desert options in here, it looks like they have ice cream and fried pies. I haven’t tried those but it’s a option. The staff was super nice and hard working and it felt like a safe place for the evening to park. I will definitely stop by again.I pray the Lord blesses this business and the hands that worked hard and prepared my meals. ??Also going to take this time to witness: Repent for your sins for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. The breakfast burrito is huge and soooo good! The rib plate was plentiful and fantastic seasoning? The pies are fresh and so flaky and yummmmy! Everyone was friendly, courteous and welcoming
Walked into an awesome atmosphere the smell of bbq was to die for and the minute we ate we were in heaven if I could give more than five stars I would definitely recommended Always Rick N Adri #truckerfam
This place is absolutely wonderful!! I do believe this is some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. And the family atmosphere just tops it off that much more. I will definitely be back again.
