My family use to joke about food sold in gas stations. No more. This Wok n Roll is truly worth ordering from. Chinese takeout has always been a competitive market, especially during the pandemic when more sit-down restaurants upped their takeout and delivery business. This store doesn’t have an app but I order online using delivery from their store. Sorry i don’t have pics this time but we’ve ordered many different appetizers and main dishes and have NEVER been disappointed. Unlike many restaurants that cater to the takeout market, the meats are tender, every time. The sauces are delicious and the food is delivered hot. I mean really hot and fresh. I think the food is prepared with care by people who care about what you’re eating.
I have used this Gas Station for over 2 years now and have never eaten there. The whole gas station food stipulation didn't help. I ordered the orange chicken and the beef and Broccoli both with steamed rice. They took my order and I got a drink at the gas station and it got done super fast. I put it in the fridge and heated it up in the microwave. Even after cooling and being microwaved (the flavor killer) this has to be one of the best orange chicken I have had. The rice was cooked perfectly. Not mushy, not too hard which is hard to do in large batches. It was fast, convenient and delicious. Also very large portions. I can't complain about it. The containers they put the rice are very nice. They are thick wax cardboard. Very sturdy and waterproof. I'll see how I like the beef and Broccoli.
We ordered two dinners and side dishes. One dinner was beef it was so bad we could not eat it. It tasted like old meat. The chicken dinner we ordered was supposed to be orange chicken. I think it was but it had a cockroach in it. That place is really bad. I would not feed that to my dog.
food was pretty good and reasonably priced but i ordered delivery and i was missing 1-2 things off of my order :( could have just been a bad night so i'll order again sometime but sad !!!!
First time ordering here. My order was done in 10 minutes...great service. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because my Chicken Won Ton soup had no Chicken and no Wontons. All I got was noodles. Other than that...this is a treasure. I have been to PF Changs, Panda Express, PEI Wei and Empress of China and Wok N Roll has them beat for taste, quality, portions and service. Definitely try them, you won't be disappointed.
Conveniently located at a Shell gas station. Order was ready in the 10 minutes they told us. Good flavors, we had egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, cashew chicken and bourbon chicken bowl. Each had it's own unique flavor, fresh, warm and generous sizes, all for under $35. Only critique, the bourbon chicken sauce was a tad salty, but not unbearable. Definitely coming back!
I love this place! Friendly, yummy and fast! This is my Favorite spot to order Chinese food, I think it's better than PF chains by far!! So good, Im going to order some now and have it delivered??
So thos place comes to my apartments in Bedford called point loma and delivered flyers on all the doors to order free deliver. However, when you call them they say they DO NOT deliver...but yet they advertise.Stay away from these LIARS!!
