I wait 26 minutes for a burger, the restaurant was completely empty just 2 tables and they were already eating. After the 26 minutes waiting on the burger they realized they didn’t have fries done so I did have to wait almost 4 minutes more for the fries. The employees at the front were standing there just walking around extremely slowly doing nothing for 30 minutes. Never coming back to this place. It’s a shame how they play with your time
Took a long time to get my food. No regular ketchup left, only spicy ketchup left. Grandson not a big fan of spicy ketchup. Since we were staying in a nearby hotel, had to stop at a convenient store and purchase regular ketchup! Not the cleanest of the places I have visited. Maybe they had rough day.
We travelled to Grapevine for a baseball game and I placed an order for curbside pickup to quickly pickup and be back to the game since it was only 7 minutes away. I arrived at the restaurant parked in spot 1 and checked in. The app said my order would be out in 10-15 minutes. 35 minutes later my order was still not out and the restaurant was empty. I waited another 5 minutes, still nothing. I had small children with me, so I reluctantly got out and went in to check on the order. The cashier was clueless and went to try to "find" my order. The manager was unapologetic and I saw that a bag of food was sitting on the counter unfinished. They threw some cold fries in the bag and then advised me that several items I had paid for were out of stock. They didn't offer a refund (the order was paid for online via debit/credit). They also didn't remake the cold food. I spent almost $50 for food for kids and by the time we made it back to the game, it was over.
The burgers are good. Keep expectations very low for speed. I always spend at least 10 minutes in line, but usually longer. You do typically get fresh hot fries, though. I also usually try to order a Jr burger and it is 50/50 whether I will get it...and I also cannot predict what size meal I will get. Even when I specify a size, it may not be that. So, I just go with low expectations and get what I get. Wish it wasn't so expensive for fast food given these circumstances.
If you're from Texas, you don't need to read the reviews for this, it's a Whataburger. If you're reading this because you've never been to a Whataburger, then just go because it's an experience. It's like Waffle House in that regard. Or In-N-Out. You go because it's part of the culture™ here.
It’s taking more than 20 minutes for a simple order while still waiting unbelievable.
Great hamburger and fries!
Love this whataburger. My sweet and spicy bacon burger is always good. As well as the customer service. You can tell their over worked and tired but are trying their best to satisfy their guest. Thank yall!
This particular Whataburger at Grapevine is the worst EVER! it took over 40 minutes to get the food via drive through lane. Thought it supposed to be fast food not freaking gourmet 5 star chef tasting menu? Even after waiting that long, the fries wasn't even that crispy. I've been through a lot of Whataburger but this particular location is beyond bad. Always a super long wait. Parking and drive thru are always a mess. Go to another location if you have to have one!
This is the slowest whataburger I have ever been to in my 30 years in Texas. If there is one person in front of you it will take at least 30 minutes to get your food. The food was as it normally is at whataburgers.
