Great service, great food! While we wouldn't call it southern food, but rather hipster food, it definitely had the southern hospitality! Melissa, our server, was incredibly helpful and courteous, and made our anniversary lunch special!I will definitely be ordering the brisket grilled cheese with blueberry chipotle dressing. No contest whatsoever for a savory lover. My wife loves sweet and said the fig jam sandwich was her new favorite sandwich period. We will definitely return!
The food was great! The grown up grilled cheese and tomato basil was light but filling! The poinsettias were great. Our waitress was definitely the cherry on top of our experience. Beautiful location and wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant was full but the seating was spaced out perfectly to where you couldn't overhear other people's conversations.
My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch. The staff was friendly, courteous, and had a good sense of humor. We were seated shortly even though it was busy and there was a wait. The restaurant is clean, shabby chic, and casual. We split a mixed greens salad and also a panini and chicken salad sandwich with tomato basil soup. Everything came out timely, fresh, and just the right temp. Would recommend to anyone. They also serve wine and local beer ?
Not worth the high price. Lunch for two was $55 and we had half a sandwich (on regular size bread) and small cup of soup that was not on par with TX soups. Soda in a can, tea bags from grocery store and pricey coffee pour over as they were out of regular at about $8. Service is slow but - Great atmosphere and decor, nice tables and perfect location. If they brought the prices down to reflect the quality and quantity of the food, this would be a busier and more happening spot. But are they ready for super busy? I would love to see this place flourish and take off but it needs a bit of tweaking.
The menu looked and sounded divine! The decor inside the restaurant is adorable. I had high hopes for this place but I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the salad trio which came with a minuscule scoop of chicken & egg salad and pimento cheese on a few spinach leaves with crackers. I thought the crackers would be a nice multigrain cracker but no they were Ritz. I could have gone to the gas station for Ritz. The egg & chicken salads were flavorless. The pimento cheese tasted like artificial cheese from an aerosol can. I ordered a Diet Dr Pepper and mistakenly assumed it’d be in a cup with a straw, lid and ice. No, instead they gave me a warm can of soda. I was on my lunch break and didn’t have time to go buy ice. I ended up anyway at the gas station to buy a cold soda. I will never go back here and would never recommend it to anyone. The prices are super steep too. Such a bummer.
The menu looked spectacular and the restaurant is decorated amazing! I was looking forward to this on my lunch break and was sadly very disappointed. I ordered the salad trio with a scoop of Chicken Salad, Egg Salad & Pimento Cheese with crackers and a Diet Dr Pepper. The scoops were tiny and the chicken and egg salad virtually tasteless. The pimento cheese tasted so artificial I could only manage to swallow one bite. I thought the crackers would be a multigrain but no just Ritz. I could have gone to Wal Mart for that. To top it off I expected a fountain drink with ice for my Diet Dr Pepper and instead I got a warm can of soda. The menu definitely did not live up to what I received total bummer. Don’t waste your money and the prices are Hefty!!!
Loved it here. Got seated within minutes. The server and the owner were very friendly. It seemed like everyone was getting the Grown up grilled cheese. I got the Grilled ham and cheese with tomato soup. It was great. We will be back!
So cute and I had the best time. The food was great as well as the aesthetic!
Never been treated so poorly. Seriously so rude here. Don’t waste your time. We were drawn in by the cute decor and online menu but won’t make that mistake again.
This place is amazing. The ambiance is both warm and inviting. The eclectic furniture, and farmhouse art takes your mind off the hustle and bustle outside. The food is simple yet delicious. Wine, tea, beer, and southern hospitality all combine for a wonderful experience.Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
